5.Can screen be adjusted when the window is opened? 

- The screen is adjustable between 22”-36” for when people open their window – Height would be fixed at height from bottom of U to top of unit. *Reference adjustable screen separately sold.  

6.The machine is not cooling or cooling slowly.

8. The air volume is not enough to feel the wind.

Answer:	I've never, ever heard of a warranty becoming void because a window or through-wall air conditioner wasn't installed by the seller. Freidrich does also make Ductless Split systems, and I CAN imagine the possibility of the warranty being void if a homeowner installs it, as it requires professional installation. (Mostly the evacuation and charging process, which needs to be done precisely or component failure could occur)

Answer:	Yes it is 120 volts. The problem is it cools, but it does not lower the humidity. I’ve never seen an air conditioner like it. No water drains out of the back. I have to run a dehumidifier at the same time which of course heats the room. Don’t buy!

Answer:	Yes, you can hold a normal conversation . This wall unit is in my bedroom. You can hear it running but it’s not annoyingly loud. Answer:	I beleive it has to do with energy consumption and efficiency involved in the cooling process not the degree of coldness.

Answer:	nothing wrong with the picture of the plug when I look at the underside as shown of my plug it’s exactly the same. When you turn it around to plug it into the outlet the prongs change sides. Not all outlets are the same though

Answer:	I'm afraid no. The blue light is the power indicator and will be on once you run the machine.
Question:	could this also be used as a through the wall unit
Answer:	This produces ozone which is different from negative ions. You can stay in a room with a device that produces negative ions; whereas,. you cannot stay in a room with one that generates ozone (O3). This particular unit generates a lot of ozone for its size and price. I used it to finally clear out the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in a used car I bought 18 months ago.
Question:	Can this be installed vertically, instead of horizontally
Answer:	Thanks for your question. Yes, ozone can kill mold and remove the smell. However, the max ozone output of B50 is only 50mg/h, which means it will take much longer to kill them. Please clean up the surface with mold first, then close doors and windows and run the unit.
