2.This is my first installation experience, how can I install the item?

3.There is a gap between the body and the installation accessories after installation. 

- Please see the installation video on the product page for the steps to seal the gap. 

4.I found that there are missing parts in the package. 

- Please check the packages carefully and there are some brackets that may be in the corner or under the foam (ex. L brackets). 

5.Can screen be adjusted when the window is opened? 

- The screen is adjustable between 22”-36” for when people open their window – Height would be fixed at height from bottom of U to top of unit. *Reference adjustable screen separately sold.  

6.The machine is not cooling or cooling slowly.  

Please select the appropriate capacity section according to the recommended area. Check if the machine is in cooling mode.

8. The air volume is not enough to feel the wind. 

- Midea U uses a silent air duct design, and the air supply distance reaches 20 feet. While increasing the air volume, the wind noise is much smaller than the ordinary window machine. 

9.Can the display light of the machine and the key “beep” sound be turned off?  

-This is a regular feature and cannot be turned off at this time. A new version of the APP is being developed, and the function of turning off the display light and key tone will be realized by then.

10. What mobile phone permissions are required for the APP?

Answer:	Thank you for your interest in Arctic Air Ultra. While every environment varies you can expect Arctic Air Ultra to cool your room up to 20 degrees F, depending on ambient humidity and temperature.
Question:	How much humidity does this add to the air? Looking to use it in a basement where we already have a dehumidifier and need to keep moisture levels down
Answer:	It will add some, but not much. Keep in mind that this is a personal product, not a room air conditioner. You need to be sitting in front of it to gain any benefit from the cooling air. It doesn't put out a great volume of air but is a benefit if you are in a warm room and sitting at a desk, etc.
Question:	Does this use USB or an electric outlet
Answer:	where can I get an electric outlet cord for the product. I bought one and only got a usb cable which doesnt help me

Question:	Will the remote work from a different upstairs room
Answer:	I've got my LG 8013er mounted on a piece of split rubber fuel line to isolate the bottom of the AC from the aluminum window sill. Still working great after 20,000 hours although I replaced the fan motor bearings after 3 years. The metal cabinets on window AC units are held on with just sheet screws and on these LG models the plastic tabs fit in little rectangular holes in the sheet metal tab. You can take an adjustable wrench closed down to the width of the sheet metal and raise that metal tab near the hole bending the sheet metal up a 16th of an inch or so. The plastic front fits much tighter then. The other place that sometimes rattles is the air direction vane mounting assembly. The LG models don't usually rattle there, but wedging something at one end or the other of the outflow vent where it pivots will stop that. The newer LG8017 has a screwed in front and a wired display that makes it a little more difficult to access and clean the front coils. This was probably a response to the complaints about rattles which doesn't require bending those sheet metal mounting tabs..

Answer:	Most likely, probably not the 8018 model because it’s a 75lb which is excessive for an 8,000 btu. Perhaps Friedrich. Since moisture is your concern, I’d suggest the LG, Friedrich, or new GE profile as they all have drain holes. The issue for me is usually how much light is let in, LG and Kenmore elite made by LG usually are good here, GE lights up a room through the vents (at least the ones at Walmart and Home Depot). Then use pan tabs. Or get a slide out with a drain hole. My Frigidaire made Kenmore (non elite) molded before the LG or Kenmore elite LGs we have, 1 season is all. No drain hole, always left the fan on, so seems an issue with humidity and lack of a drain plug. Because no light really came in the vents, decent build, I accepted no drain hole but don’t suggest it! Also if you Lysol regularly, it prevents mold on mold free surfaces. Go from the beginning. Avoid black louvers, it’ll hide an issue.

Magnetic Door Switch

Plunger Micro Switch with Roller

A traditional mechanical plunger micro switch with roller, model TZ-6003, is not included in any of the series. (Door switch brackets are not included, refer to User Manual in Technical Specification section for detailed installation instruction).

It has to be installed accurately for pushing the rod on the switch to trigger. It has wear and tear issue. The 110VAC high voltage directly applies on the micro switch will cause sparks internally which lower the life of usage.

Front vs Top Air Inlet

- Front Air Inlet for FM-12 & FM-15 series, the air curtain can be installed right under the ceiling.

- Top Air Inlet for FM-35 series, which requires at least 2" clearance from air curtain top to ceiling.

Answer:	I see this is 2 months old now, but on a lot of fans like these, the speed of the fans determine the power the LEDs get. If they run for a while at start up and then go out, it could mean your mother board is slowing down the fan speed. I have a set of Apevia fans right now, and the LEDs won't light at all below 15% fan speed, and don't hit full brightness until about 20% speed. You could see if you have a "silent mode" enabled. When your system starts up it runs full blast for a couple of seconds until the preferences are loaded up.
