Question:	Does this have automatic shut off feature or does it run as a fan after the 6 hours of ice/water runs out
Answer:	It would still work, but counterproductive. The unit needs to expel hot air, in order to create cold air. This is not a ventless ac unit, it needs to have exhaust to the outside. Otherwise, you’d be heating and cooling the room at the same time.
Question:	how long do you need to charge this unit before it will run without being connected to an electrical source
Answer:	The approximate area would be 100 to 150 square feet.
Question:	Can it cool a car
Answer:	I bought the red one and it comes with gold accents. I don’t know about the pink but if I had to guess, so would guess gold...I have a 50% chance of being right! 😉

Answer:	All compartments are small. I gave it as a gift for a child and don’t remember the exact size. If you want to use it for large jewelry pieces I might be a little hesitant.

Question:	Is this a swamp cooler
Answer:	I don't understand the questions. It does cool a small room unless the temp goes over 86 degrees with high humidity. Then you realize it is not always as strong as conventional AC. So it depends on your situation. My son likes it and most of the time it is a relief from heat.
Question:	I drive a school bus and wondered if this would slosh the water out if I mounted it on my dash
Answer:	The water/ice area is open and exposed. I would think that it would slosh around and fall out if mounted. I actually gave this fan a bad review. It does not work well at all (in my opinion). The air feels no cooler than a regular fan. Trust me, it does not feel like a portable air conditioner at all!
Question:	Does this unit have a filter that can be cleaned
Answer:	Yes...the filter can be removed and rinsed...not sure where to order a replacement.

Answer:	I suppose it depends on how you are using it. If you are trying to push out the water I am not sure; if you are trying to dry pressurize the system then that is what we use it for. It is a little slow on the fill but holds pretty good.
Question:	Where can I get a piece of rubber tubing to connect to the condensation valve? For example, if we wanted to let the water drain into a container
Answer:	Yes, the item is made in the USA, in Campbellsville, KY. The other answer about Ireland is no longer accurate - the company is headquartered in Milwaukee. The previous company was split up and the company that remains Ingersoll Rand is based wholly in the United States (the company in Ireland is now known as Trane Technologies). Every product made in the US is going to contain both foreign and domestically produced components, that is the nature of the global supply chain in 2020. But this is definitely an American-made product, as I believe all Ingersoll Rand compressors are.

Question:	nothing was said about needed to duct the exhaust? it is very very hot
Answer:	The tanks are ferrous (ie magnetic) indicating iron/steel (imagine its steel as the tanks are fairly light)... Additionally, the supposition is that you want aluminum tanks to prevent oxidation (rusting): the outside of the tanks are coated in a fairly thick commercial grade paint (possibly epoxy paint) that certainly will resist surface rust. Regarding internal tank rusting: the tanks have a release valve to prevent ambient humidity condensing and aiding internal oxidation. Just be sure to use the valve after use and the risk of internal oxidation is minimal considering life expectancy of compressor (10 years ish under moderate use)... And no I don't sell them, I simply know about chemistry:-)
