Answer:	If the Cool LED light is flashing on the control panel, this can be an indication that the evaporator coils are frosting up or are too cold. It is signaling that the evaporator temperature is too low and that the compressor may need to cycle off briefly until the evaporator temperature rises. The primary cause for the evaporator temperature being too low is low outside temperatures while the unit is running (below 70F).

Answer:	It depends on a couple thing no. 1 what speed the fan is on low, med, or high? No. 2 how much water you put in the bottom tank. No. 3 do you have the cooler on or just the fan on with water running across it. I personally always fill it close to the max to make it last the longest. I only put the cooler on when it starts getting hot. I would say 8 hrs cooler on low, 6hrs med, 4 hrs. low. What ever the time it lasts, it's easy to fill with a pitcher or I use a big pot and fill it with water and dump it. I fully enjoy this cooler it does it's job very well and uses hardley any electricity. I do not reget this purchase at all I love this swamp cooler. Gets the room cool fast.

Answer:	It will add some, but not much. Keep in mind that this is a personal product, not a room air conditioner. You need to be sitting in front of it to gain any benefit from the cooling air. It doesn't put out a great volume of air but is a benefit if you are in a warm room and sitting at a desk, etc.

Answer:	It can hold a little more than 24 oz of water at a time. And it depends on how high you have the fan running for. The higher the fan setting, the faster the water will run out. I personally haven’t used mine for 8 hours straight but I’m sure if the fan was on a low setting, it could probably last that long. It doesn’t shut off if the water runs out. It just doesn’t blow cooled air anymore. It basically turns into a fan at that point.

Answer:	If you have a 120volt Ac plug in your car i guess you could. But it doesnt work as well as a car's ac so I would recommend you do so..

Answer:	I have not used mine yet - not quite hot enough and had intended it for the return to the office that has not happened (scenario no ventilation to reduce air circulation of possibly infectious droplets), But! Answer:	Any structure drywall or otherwise should be kept around 50 degrees with good air circulation because it will rot the structure you won't see mold but it'll be growing in between the walls behind the drywall on the back side of the drywall and that makes for a sick house sick building and a sick you be very careful what you do you can't save any money there's no such thing it's a joke it's something children believe things have to be maintained or they fall apart. What I think works well is a electric element oil-filled radiator with a box fan sitting behind it. Those radiators last forever forget infrared heaters what I just described is as good as it gets trust me there's no magic

Question:	Does this cooler ionize the water? Ionization adds tiny particulates to air which irritate my eyes
Answer:	The Aprilaire model 800 is a "on/off" type unit. It is either on or off. The model 801 is a modulating humidifier, requiring a special controller, that can modulate between 10% capacity and 100% capacity depending on the requirement. The 801 is usually used in precision 'laboratory' environment.
Question:	How many hours does it operate? I just bought one and it shuts off after maybe 3 hours
Answer:	That really depends on the ducts and the injection point. If you have metal ducts with interior insulation then the chance of mold increases. If your injection point is spraying the steam against one of the duct walls, this can cause it to condense back into a liquid which can also lead to possible mold growth. Just make sure that the unit is only running while the furnace is producing heat and shuts down during the cool down cycle.
Question:	I already ordered. What kind of power supply does it use
Answer:	Since the "zones" are separated by a floor, I'd think you would need two units. (but I'm not a pro) If $$$ is an issue in buying two units, then I'd suggest not getting a steam type such as the 800. (And CERTAINLY not the troublesome Honeywell steam unit) I'd go with the Aprilaire 700 (or 600) which is much cheaper and much cheaper to operate. (one for each floor) The Aprilaire steam unit (800) uses over 13 amps of power to boil the water. That's a lot--and depending on where you live, it will run a lot. Also, the 800 requires changing the canister about once a year. (or possibly more) You can find the canisters online for around $60 to $120. The model 700 or 600 uses water panels that are roughly $12 each--and also an estimated year lifespan.

Answer:	Why splice a peice of copper in? If you are using PEX, cut in a tee and 1/2" ball valve with 1/2"x1/4" compression connector.
