Answer:	i have this mattress for 3 years , i am a 450 lb woman and i put it on a base of a piece of plywood on the standard bed frame. Answer:	I started using air mattresses some 10+ years ago. I do have a bad back and the air mattress supports me so that I never wake up in pain. I like that I can adjust them for firmness, that they're lightweight when you have to move them, and cheap compared to "traditional" mattresses. With a good base, you can have about any height you desire, and don't have to lug around a box springs with 'em. I used to get bummed when they'd go flat, but I finally accepted that all air mattresses will fail eventually. They can lose air gradually, or in some cases a seam will fail and you'll wake up with a big bulge somewhere. You can extend their life somewhat if they spring a leak by using a vinyl patch. Most mattresses come with like, one, but they aren't very good quality. You can buy a package from Amazon and they'll be a little better. I finally decided that for $15 or $20, I can afford to replace my mattress every 4 to 6 months and it won't break the bank, and is a heck of a lot cheaper than a thousand dollar box springs and mattress set. I keep a spare mattress in the garage for when the current one fails. I've been using the current one for over 6 months now, and just realized I haven't replaced the "spare" so I came back to this page to get one. So far, it's holding up just fine; I've only added air twice!

Answer:	Coils are mostly quiet thanks to the foam layer on top. But if you sit down really hard or jump around, you can hear and feel them. Similar to what you would hear from jumping on a full coil mattress.
Question:	Is this mattress firm or plush? I've read conflicting information
Answer:	I have figured out why there is such a discrepancy in firmness. First of all, the measure is subjective, there isn't an objective or agreed upon scale. Regardless, I think the wide range of people's experience is in large part based upon their weight. Overall, heavier people have been pleased with its firmness, lighter people experience it as less firm. I just stayed at a motel that installed these recently in all their rooms. Finally I get a chance to try it out! I am very light, and found it very comfy at first, given how I sunk in at all pressure points. However sleeping was difficult as I felt too sunk in, like drowning in foam. A traditional mattress "pushed back" up against you when you move, but this doesn't. I then talked to another person staying there, a large person, who felt it was firm. Why? His weight compresses the foam more, which then shifts the force down upon the firmer springs. My thought is that this is, in the end, better for heavier people who want to feel support, and lighter people who want to sink into a cloud. However, at this price I am sure that both foam and springs will not endure. Then why the generous warranty? 1) most people will not follow-up on such warranties, even if they safe-kept the sales receipt, and, 2) if you can get them to honor the warranty (there may be technicalities and measurements and such that discourage warranty claims) you may simply be offered a discount on another mattress, which is standard, just like with tire warranties. Unless you want to feel like a lessee of the bed, getting a new one discounted every 2-3 years --I know I wouldn't want to get another if the first didn't last!-- you will just end up giving up on it. This mattress was one of the my 4 finalist after many hours of research. It is now OFF MY LIST.

Answer:	Great question as I have a 180 lb 26 year old who is emotionally 4. (Autism) He bounces! Bounces! Bounces! He has broken countless pieces of furniture. Couches, chairs, even a toilet. He has destroyed beds since he was 8 years old. Frames, box springs, mattresses. I will try this mattress with his old foam mattress under it on a steel frame that has held up well. He hasn’t had Springs for years at the expense of foam which only holds up to his bouncing, hanging off the edge in the same place, and falling on it from standing, for 12-18 mos. Wish us luck!

Answer:	Not sure but I would write to the company we had an issue and they sent us a whole new one right away and haven’t had any issues since.

Answer:	I don't think anyone can answer this question based on the information you gave. It isn't necessarily about the weight of a kid but more importantly, the height of your kid. If your child can sleep in a crib sized mattress comfortably, then yes. If they are too big, then no.
Question:	Is it okay for my 16 month old to use it
Answer:	I think 15 months is too young for this. They will be able to crawl out and I think there is a chance they could get stuck between the inflated sides and the inflated mattress. I use this when my 2+ year old grandson visits and he is accustomed to sleeping in a Toddler bed.

Answer:	I can't say improve it's not solid. It's meant to roll up when your done. But if you like it really soft and not firm it might be good then. I like a firm support for sleeping. So this is for emergencies for when I don't have a bed available.

Answer:	If your on a solid foundation the only thing it might do is get a bit flatter. I ordered two types of futons and combined them with a fitted mattress pad cover. 2 people slept on them plus luggage road on top at times. 2 weeks in back of Jeep and they were just like new when I rolled them up and placed in duffel bags Combined weight of two of us approx 380 -400 pounds. Memory foam showed no signs of going senile.

Answer:	They can’t roll out. They would have to climb out. Had it for my 2 year old great grandson for 5 days and he liked it. He felt cozy in it.

Answer:	Yes. It will fit a foreign a half year-old very nicely. I lay in it with my daughter and together we fit in it just fine.

Answer:	It's not a one-piece mattress. It's two 2" thick foam pieces (19"x19") which is the only way the "bed" can be folded up as shown. The foam pieces are removable. They're attached to the "frame" by velcro and each has a velour type zippered cover.
Question:	Has anyone used the Shrunks travel bed? It looks the same, but i am curious about whats different and better/worse
Answer:	Might be better for a child who is already sleeping in a "big kid bed" and knows they are supposed to stay in it. We use it for our great-grandson one day a week; he's not quite crawling. Also, we just sit there and watch him sleep so he can't sneak out! His parents borrowed it for a road trip and it worked ok, but again, he's not yet very mobile.
