Answer:	When recording 4K movies, [ APSC Shooting] becomes disabled and locked to [Off]. This means if you use a ASPC lens the camera will not auto crop if you set the camera to record is 4K. If you want to avoid vignetting then you will set the record to 1080 and then set APSC option to auto.

When you do those following things the camera is running off those power sources and not your battery. And yes, you can record while plugged into those external power sources. The battery will not charge when doing that and recording but that should not be a problem. Charge your battery at home. Now start recording and when your battery gets low plug into your external battery pack or USB and keep going. I own this camera and did the experiment. I use this in my car as a dash cam and it's plugged into my cigarette lighter and it runs non stop without using the battery.

Answer:	Hi Roxanne, Yes you would need a cable. The flash mounts in a cold shoe. I have used a bracket like this with a Canon OC-E3 Off Camera Shoe Cord, which allows me to have flash control (ETTL) as if it was in the hot shoe. A a radio trigger would work too, but the OCF cord might be a cheaper option.

Answer:	I guess it depends on what you’re doing with your images. If you’re displaying them on the web use your iPhone. If you’re making prints of any significant size I’d go with the lens. The lens is fabulous, very sharp and great focal length.

Answer:	Since this lens is an "e" mount and the Sony a99 is an "a" mount, you will need to have an adapter for it to work. Be sure to check to be sure the functionality is the same when using the adapter...as that's a lot of $ to pay for a lens if it doesn't. It is a fabulous lens though (for my Sony a7r ii).

Answer:	While it is true this is a full frame lens that in no way means it would not be a great lens on the a6000. The most important feature of this lens is the 2.8 aperture and that does not change on a crop sensor camera like yours! The larger aperture will still would allow it to focus faster and perform better in low light situations as well as allow for better bokah. Glass is more important than the body. The a6000 has a great sensor and image quality to start with and the lens would be awesome on it. The only "issue" is its not as wide as it would be on an A7 so think of its field of view as being a 36-105 instead of a 24-70. Not quite as good for landscape. Good glass will stay with your as you upgrade your bodies so the investment is totally worth it as long as you stay within the E-Mount system

Answer:	no. at those apertures the difference will be minimal. if you pixel peep you may notice better detail and less distortion in the corners, but that's about it, but not enough to make or break the photo. or justify the price. the G master is also MASSIVE. mounting it on an A7R II will make your set up just as big and heavy as a Canon 5DM4 + 24-70 f/2.8 IIthe only reason i would carry a G Master is if would shoot at 2.8

As focal lengths get longer, lenses built with conventional optical glass have difficulties with chromatic aberration, and as a result images suffer from lower contrast, lower color quality, and lower resolution. ED glass dramatically reduces chromatic aberration at telephoto ranges, and provides superior contrast across the entire image, even at large aperture settings. Super ED glass provides enhanced compensation for chromatic aberration. Aspherical lens design dramatically reduces spherical aberration while also reducing lens size and weight. Spherical aberration is a slight misalignment of the light rays projected on the image plane. This is caused by differences in refraction at different points on conventional spherical lenses which degrade image quality in large-aperture lenses. Specially shaped “aspherical” elements near the diaphragm restore alignment of light rays at the image plane, maintaining high sharpness and contrast even at maximum aperture and can also be used at other points in the optical path to reduce distortion. Well-designed aspherical elements can reduce the total number of elements required in the lens, thus reducing overall size and weight. Advanced Aspherical (AA) elements are an evolved variant, featuring an extremely high thickness ratio between the center and periphery. AA elements are exceedingly difficult to produce, relying on the most advanced molding technology to consistently and precisely achieve the required shape and surface accuracy, resulting in significantly improved image accuracy and quality. Gyro sensors built into the lens detect even the slightest movement, and the stabilization lens is precisely shifted to counteract any image blur that might occur. The use of precision, quiet linear motors and technology inherited from high-end Sony professional camcorders results in exceptionally quiet, effective image stabilization that contributes to high-quality movies as well as stills. Only the middle groups of the optical system move to achieve focus, so the overall length of the lens does not change. Other important benefits include fast autofocusing and a short minimum focusing distance. Question:	is this a E mount and can it be used on a NEX
Answer:	Yes, the Sony SELP18105G lens has an E-mount. I have been using it on my Sony NEX-5R for about a month. All NEX cameras have an E-mount connection so there should be no problem putting it on a Sony NEX-6.
Question:	I can't seem to get eye auto-focus to work with this lens. Any suggestions
Answer:	I have found this usually happen when the lens is not seated. Or, when manual focus is on. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does this lens cover a Full Frame sensor such as in the VG
Answer:	The VG900 accepts both E-mount APS-C sensor lenses & A-mount Full Frame lenses, plus more.
Question:	How does the image quality compare with the SEL18200 18-200mm lens (not the LE version)? Can you notice the difference
Answer:	The 18-105 is definitely the sharper lens. In my opinion, even at F4 throughout the entire range, you get amazing results. The 18-200, like most zooms, you have to really stop it down some to get the best results and the telephoto ends tends to get soft focus. It's a good all-in-one but definitely can notice the difference in performance and image quality especially in lower light situations.
