Answer:	Yes it does, however it would be short. If you’re looking at the picture of the umbrella up and open, there is a thing that looks like a knob and then a lever you can lift up. The top part of the umbrella fits into that bottom piece about 3-4 inches or so. I can send you a picture of mine if you would like. Just let me know.

Answer:	Unfortunately, we currently do not make a holder that can hold a 2" diameter pole. We will let you know if that changes.
Question:	Sorry, last question: How many inches deep is the offest? I've got to clear the railing
Answer:	The clamps will work on any vertical member up to 2.15 inches. The clamps work very well and easy to attach. The offset from the outside of the clamp to the vertical pipe is 1.6 inches. I did have to use some flat washers under the clamp bolt to make a secure attachment because the threads do not go through the vertical pipe. I bought this to hold a flag pole with only a diameter of one inch so the screw to attach the pole was not long enough to clamp the pole, so I bought a longer bolt and it works great. The threads are metric, so if that is your situation, buy metric hardware. I highly recommend this product even though I had to make a couple of modifications.
Question:	How well does this hold up to strong winds
Answer:	So far ours holds up pretty well. The reason I got it was to have an umbrella on our upstairs patio. There was no way any kind of regular umbrella stand would stay in place when the winds came. Even when I tried to weigh it down with granite pavers! This connects to the railing and hold the umbrella in place. When the wind blows there’s a little bit of a shake to the umbrella which is normal & a little bit of flapping but it’s not going anywhere

Answer:	check to see if the axel the pulley rotates around is bent or if the pulley itself is worn so bad where the axel goes thru it that the pulley is cocked to one side causing the cord when it is taunt to ride off the side. Good luck!

Answer:	More than 7’ depending the stand. Also be prepare for a sturdy and heavy one. The pole it’s aluminum and very thin. it wouldn’t withstand winds more than 7-9 mph. I reinforced mine inserting a 24” PVC pipe (painted black) in he cast iron 26 pounds stand. The screw it’s tide now and even though looks sturdy. The umbrella tills with winds more than 12mph.

Answer:	Very close, excellent quality construction. Very versatile umbrella.
Question:	can it be bolted to a wooden deck and if so does it still need to be weighted down
Answer:	Yes, that is what I did with mine. I even cut the legs shorter and drilled new holes because there is no reason for the long legs if you bolt/screw it to the deck. Do the best you can to fasten it to the joists, the deck boards themselves may not be strong enough...and don't use wimpy hardware.
Question:	What is the size & shape of the main support post that the handle slides up/down on? Is it square or round
Answer:	Post is “Rectangle” and very strong. ours holds up to the ocean breeze daily. I will be buying another

Answer:	Yes, it’s actually quite nice the way it works. The crank that raises and lowers the umbrella pulls out and goes into a different hole to rotate the umbrella in a full 360 degrees.

Answer:	When it is fully open, it is 90inch wide.
Question:	Does polyester fabric coating have PU (polyurethane) coating
Answer:	I'm not sure....... it is thick fabric but not as thick as canvas. There is no sheen on the surface . But it does not get saturated when it rains . On a sidenote be sure to get a heavy enough umbrella stand with the longneck particularly because of the umbrellas tilting ability . It has the tendency to fall over if not positioned correctly . Question:	What's the difference between this $50 umbrella by Abba and the $80 one - except $30? All specs are the same. Are they the same
Answer:	The difference is it’s not 9 foot all the way around the more ribs you have the more consistent the circle is and the size, when there’s less ribs on a supposedly 9 foot umbrella you end up with 7 1/2 at certain points which Is not what you’re looking for when you’re looking for 9 foot all the way around. So my advice is buy a umbrella with as many ribs as you can get on it to keep this size consistent all the way around

Answer:	It fits but the pole rusted so each time we took it out of the Baja shelf (or it blew out) it left trails of rust spots on our pool coping. Don’t recommend for in pool use.

Answer:	I used a cement table and holding the umbrella was fine but it is very cheaply made and broke after opening it only a few times. I'd keep looking if I were you.
