Answer:	No it does not. The space between the back and seat cushion is pretty tight and that seam can be easily cleaned with a standard vacuum brush attachment. There is a gap between the seat cushion on the left and right sides and the wood armrest fixtures. Any debris is going to fall through to the floor. And if it is on the wood, a duster or the vacuum should be sufficient to remove. The synthetic leather has a nice quality finish. Any spills wet or dry should clean up nicely with a spritz and a rag.
