Answer:	Yes, assembly is required. It was simple - took about 30 minutes by myself, including trash haul away. All required tools were provided. Just follow the instructions. Only one watch-out: Don't tighten the frame screws too tightly until you confirm that everything is aligned and all four legs hit the floor evenly.
Question:	Can I use a foundation under my mattress? I know it says not required, but can I use one at all
Answer:	Yes, you can simply buy a bed skirt for a full size bed. I did, and the skirt laid just perfect at the corners because the skirt has slits at the corners. Hope this helps!!

Answer:	Like the person who asked this question--and others who have shown interest--I am aware that these inserts need to be purchased separately. The question is 'where' do you get it, not 'does it come with the daybed', duh. Yet someone chose to waste our time by ignoring the obvious and providing an insultingly useless response--perhaps because they get some sort of credit for this? (I hope that's the reason, as this occurs frequently here, and otherwise, given the frequency of such oblivious responses, our species is devolving at an incredible pace. If there is such an incentive, Amazon needs to rethink it.) These inserts, both the yellow and the cream, are a much more attractive answer for a dual purpose daybed than the usual mattress, and there's a market for them if the vendor of this daybed, or others, would make them available here or provide information. They would help promote daybed sales, too. Thank you to anyone who can actually answer this :)

Answer:	This is a very strong bed frame. I bought this bed for my children, however I fit comfortably on it (note I am 5’ 4.5”). I would recommend purchasing an XL twin bed mattress for this frame because I bought a regular twin sized bed and the bed frame is about 5” inches longer. I believe an adult can fit comfortably on this bed.
