Answer:	Great question as I have a 180 lb 26 year old who is emotionally 4. (Autism) He bounces! Bounces! Bounces! He has broken countless pieces of furniture. Couches, chairs, even a toilet. He has destroyed beds since he was 8 years old. Frames, box springs, mattresses. I will try this mattress with his old foam mattress under it on a steel frame that has held up well. Answer:	No, it doesn't come with a cover. Body sweat and body oil break down memory foam rapidly. Purchase a waterproof sheet. You can find them for around 20.00 here on Amazon.
Question:	Has anyone had this product for an extended period time, 2 or 3 years, how does it hold up
Answer:	I calculated the density on a twin size (I assume they are all the same) and I get 2.19 density per cubic foot. Seems fairly low imo but they must do some research and decide what density is good ( or best?) for a mattress topper... unless they just make them as less dense as possible and still have a saleable product in order to cut cost.. Can't imagine anyone doing that can we? lol Generally I am seeing foam densities of up to 5lbs per cubic ft as a max for memory foam so 2lbs seems to be on the low side.. I will say I have slept on a memory foam bed that was much denser (how much more I don't know but significantly more) for 6 months and it was noticeably firmer than one of these toppers.. I've been sleeping on one of these 3inch gel infused mem foam toppers for 3 years or so.. Looking to get a new 4inch one so I can use my old one to make a nice dog bed for a 90 lb Pit Bull. She's getting old .. Maybe go to a site that sells high end memory foam mattresses and figure out what density of foam they use in their expensive high end beds for a clue as to what density is really a good number to shoot for.. I would feel ok buying something in the 4 lb range myself.. but that's just a guess..

You should keep in mind I have had mattress toppers for almost 20 which usually last 5-8 years depending on quality and I sleep with my windows open when it is cold outside and it hasn’t gotten above 70 for months mostly in 40s-50s. This is my 2nd blue lucid since October and my sheets are soaked in sweat by morning and I have a whole in this one now too. My first one took 2 monster for 1 row of the little round holes to connect and rip wide open! It killed my hip before I realized I was sinking into the topper at night! It’s happening again! Please do not buy this!

Question:	Has anyone used this with a thin mattress? we have ikea mattresses that are only about 5" thick, and i'm wondering if it will work

Answer:	This is not a heavy comforter - compared to my old down comforter, it feels very light. But I find that it sleeps INCREDIBLY hot.

Answer:	Yes, always wash any fabric that will be having skin contact before using. Whether it is a blanket, clothes etc. You need to wash it first to get the dyes and other chemicals off.

Answer:	I don't know how these work w/o sewing fabric ties on both comforter and duvet. I found the perfect answer for any duvet and it holds comforter in place w/o slipping, tearing, shifting or sewing! I found these clear hard plastic circles (doubles-one snaps inside the other ) to hold corners in place w/o any problems. I first used them 4 a med. weight comforter (not this one) and an antique lace duvet. Held beautifully and invisibly w/no damages. With the corner tabs, you just put the larger circle on the top of tab and the smaller circle on the outside bottom of the duvet cover and snap together.Voila! I can't recall the name but Bed,Bath & Beyond has a four-pack for about $10-$12.Just tell them what you are looking for and that you need clear plastic comforter/duvet cover corner holders. They also last forever and are easy to remove for cleaning or changing styles.
