Answer:	No. It is not breathable. Traps body heat in bed in a way that was never an issue until we started using this cover. I like that it’s thin, soft and waterproof, but this sweating issue is intolerable and I will be removing it now.

Even though it fits, the mattress I have did not fully expand on one end so to compromise, we had to stuff blankets and towels to even it out. So if you decide to purchase one, make sure to follow instructions and get it to fully expand. If it doesn't just try to make the best of it, it's worth the price. On another note, a friend of mine also has this, and her's didn't fully expand and she ended up converting it into a kinder mat. Her little one naps on it in the living room.

Answer:	I wash with whites using hot water option and Tide with bleach (granules). This solves odor issues for me as well as providing cleaning. I do not know how much fluid the mattress pad contained when I washed in the past however.

Answer:	Definitely! I switched from using the disposable puppy pads to using these pads for my three small dogs. They work wonderfully! I just throw them in the washing machine with some bleach and hot water to wash and they come out beautifully. I save money on not having to buy disposable puppy pads, and I'm not creating more trash for the landfill. My suggestion for switching from disposable puppy pads to these pads is to put a puppy pad next to this pad on the floor and gradually transition your dog to the new pads. My 15 yr old pug had a bit of a challenge at first, thinking she was trying to "go" on something she should not. She was looking for the puppy pads, but it did not take very long for her to realize that these pads were the "new thing" for her to use.

Answer:	I would email the company, but I believe this is the only pad I've found that is just cloth. The backing non-slip dots do not appear to be latex, but I'm not certain. These pads work VERY well.

Answer:	Yes, it does stay in place, better than any other pad I’ve purchased and I’ve purchased many different kinds. Whether or not it will stay that way after several washings remains to be seen. Almost all of the other pads I’ve purchased have lost their grip after several machine washings (using bleach, which the label states is fine to use). Very frustrating to have to try to straighten a pad out in the middle of the night just because I’ve turned over. Grrr!
Question:	can this pad be used under the fitted sheet
Answer:	I put it under the sheet. It is more discreet and tends to move around a little less. And I am much more concerned about protecting the waterproof mattress pad which is much bulkier to wash than a fitted sheet is.

Most electric pads are temperature adjustable so when it heat up, it will cut the power itself. That will be more safe even you have a waterproof mattress protector covered up.
