Answer: These gloves come in basically two parts. The inner lining and the outer shell. On not so cold days I took the out shell off and just wore the inner lining part. I was able to occassionally get them to work when I used my phone but your accuracy goes way down because it is a thicker glove.

Question: Looking for a blanket for a child to use on an airplane. Do you feel this is light and durable enough
Answer: Shoe covers seem to be unique to each manufacturer, and shoe they're being used to cover. The best way I've found to find my fit is to go a couple of different bike shops and try on different covers. The nice thing about the Planet foot covers is that the closure is velcro. The velcro closure allows you to cinch it up tighter if the cover is a bit bigger than the shoe..or..if the fit is on the tight side, as long as the velcro can connect, you'll get a good seal.
