Each person take a corner of the duvet insert and work it up to corners of duvet cover until cover is over the insert. Then toke bottom corners and inside of the cover should be some elastic straps. Put the bottom corners of insert into the straps. Button the buttons on the bottom all the way across the duvet cover. With each person on each side of the bed, shake the duvet 2 or three times.
