This is a kit of all of the parts you'll need to build your own 2.5-watt amplifier, whether in a cigar box or other enclosure of your choice. For such a small amp board, this little beauty really puts out some nice sound. This kit includes a two-page how-to sheet that shows wiring diagrams and covers some key points about wiring and assembly. Only basic soldering skills, and an ability to read simple wiring diagrams, are required to assemble this kit! This kit features a 4-watt 8-ohm 3" speaker that really pumps out the sound, despite its small size. The amp board also has an onboard Tone Trim Pot, adjustable with a Philips screwdriver , which allows for fine-tuning the tone from "clean" to "crunchy". We always crank the tone all the way up before shipping our own amplifiers, so that they produce the loudest, crunchiest tone - because that's what we think sounds best with a CBG! Question:	How long will the amp last on a 9v battery
Answer:	The battery should last you anywhere from 3-5 hours of continuous play, depending on the volume used. At full volume, it tends to draw a bit more power.
Question:	Will it perform better with a sealed or open back style enclosure
Answer:	You know, I'm not sure. I actually used a Southern Draw Panatella cigar box that utilizes a three piece lid with three hinges. I guess you could use an enclosure similar to a Pignose with a hinge on the front where the speaker is mounted. Hope that helps. I have another of the same cigar box and I'm thinking of putting the speaker in a similar position that you'd find in an old Ampeg bass cabinet utilizing folded horn style of speaker mounting. The thing is, this amp kit is cheap enough to experiment.
Question:	Could you hook up a larger speaker, say an 8 inch speaker to the electronics on this and have it work

Question:	Being that this is a modeling amp, can you get overdriven or saturated tones at extremely low volumes
Answer:	Yes. But for the tone to sound good you’ll have to play with some of the settings.
Question:	How does the usb recording interface work? is it easy to control output level? (my super champ x2 only allowed you to control "usb gain" on laptop
Answer:	It works, but at least on a Mac, it's somewhat flakey. Once connected, ouput level can be controlled from the unit -- although not via the Bluetooth app. In fact, I haven't been able to use the app simultaneously with USB, hopefully this will be addressed in future firmware upgrades. The Apogee Jam remains my go to interface into Logic Pro.

Answer:	It is solid state. It is great at emulating tube amp sounds and makes a great practice amp!
Question:	Will this work well with an orange micro terror? Would this be good for gigs
Answer:	I would not think orange micro is a good application. You would want to mic the amp or use headphone jack for larger gigs. The amp has plenty of volume for small events

Answer:	The reason why it's showing August 1st is because the item has not yet arrived at Amazon's facility. Once it does, it will arrive during the standard prime window.

Answer:	Should fit any Fender Strat or Strat style guitar. I installed mine in an Asian Strat style copy guitar and it fit perfectly. This is a top grade American part made from a heavier gauge steel than those cheesy copy parts.
Question:	Will this pedal work with the rocker 32 combo
Answer:	It will fit any Strat style guitar that was routed for a standard boat type jack plate. If the jack is situated so that the longer contact faces the bottom of the cavity you'll want to turn it a bit so it won't bottom out and prevent the plug from going all the way in. Some of those 80s Strats were made with 1 volume and 1 tone control and the jack is installed in the 3rd pickguard hole where the other tone pot would normally be. If you have one of those you don't need the boat plate. A standard 1/4" jack will install direct into the pickguard.

Answer:	Hi, Nick. The knobs are one piece. There are no additional rings. The back of the knob has an exterior ridge that is raised about 1/8' above the center. This forms a 'boss'. These were a very good fit and match for my 1971 Twin Reverb.

Answer:	The effects loop is not for sending a signal to another amp. There is not a dedicated line out on this amp, however I think the headphone out jack could be used to go directly to a PA. I'm not 100% sure about that but I seem to remember reading that in the manual. To answer your question about what an effects loop is, I will give you a very basic answer then refer you to a website that explains it really well. Basically an effects loop is an input/output that lets you insert effects after the preamp and eq and before the power section of the amplifier. Read all about it at this website: http://proguitarshop.com/andyscorner/fx-loops-explainedI use it with this amp if I'm going to use the distortion on the dirty channel and I want to use a delay effect. It enables the delay to come after the distortion. If I put the delay pedal after my guitar and straight into the regular input, the signal would be delayed first and then distorted.

Answer:	You can use them only on back wheels but I usually practice with them on all four. They come in a four pack so you can use 2, if you’d like, or all 4 on all tires. Using only 2 on the back wheels will leave the front wheels free to roll, so if you land with weight on front truck be careful of the roll out!
