I bought much heavier for my kids though and they seem to prefer the heavier weight. I have a 70 pound child with a 12 pound blanket and a 45 pound child with an 8 pound blanket. They can still get the blanket on and off themselves without issue.

Question:	Is the blanket hot to be under or is something that can be used all year round
Answer:	I sleep very hot and I have been ok with this blanket this winter. I use it for about 4 hrs a night when I do use it (i'll put it on middle of the night if i can't fall back asleep) and when I wake up after 4 hrs I'm warm but not so warm that I want to throw it off. Like everyone else has said, I haven't used it through a summer yet. However, b/c of the weight I'm sleeping more soundly and deeply and longer so that off sets some of the heat that would normally annoy me and wake me.

Question:	Do you think this blanket too heavy
Answer:	Yes, the blanket it's self is washable but it comes with two duvet covers. One for summer and one for winter. I've never washed the blanket, simply because it's so heavy it seems like it would just be a giant pain in the butt. I will probably only wash it every 6 months or so, because I constantly keep it covered with one of the two duvets and just wash those weekly.

Answer:	The issue is not just the weight of the blanket, but also the size of the blanket. If you compare a 48x72 blanket at 15lbs to a 60x80 blanket at 15 lbs, they will feel quite different. The weight is the same, but the weight distribution is wider the larger the blanket. I weigh about 190 lbs, and vendors suggest I buy 20 lbs weight; I sleep on a twin bed, and vendors suggest I buy a 48x72 blanket. So I bought a 48x72 blanket at 20 lbs. I felt crushed by the weight, and the blanket kept falling off of me whenever I rolled over at night, so it was too small. I then bought what I thought I should have bought in the first place, based on common sense = a 60x80 blanket at 15 lbs and I love it. I then later found out on the internet that this size and weight is favored by 90% of adults. I agree!

Answer:	I tend to run warm so I worried about being too hot under it as well but I have been pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I am. It is super soft and snuggly, and I fall asleep all covered up in it. I do wake up sometimes because I am getting too warm, but his would happen to me with a duvet cover so this is nothing new! To sum up, despite the weight, and the “cozy heat” cover, I do not think it is any hotter than sleeping under a regular set of covers. In fact I would say I stay under it more regularly than I did with my old blankets.

Question:	What the customer talking about? Glass came out of the blanket
Answer:	There are glass beads inside the blanket. Thats what gives it the "weight". I have not had any issues with the glass beads escaping the blanket. I use mine with a cover, so any beads that might escape would be caught by the cover. I would not use this blanket without the cover, because it cannot be washed. If you were to wash it in a washing machine, I think the seams would get stressed and maybe the beads would start to come out.

Answer:	Check all your seams they may have a tear or depending on the cost were just not sewn properly. I have had them come out too I use my vac to dispose of the cast offs. I did resew the edge .
