Answer:	I think it is somewhere in between. It is not heavy, but it has enough weight to hold its shape. I really like it. I had a comforter before for years and it was so bulky. I wanted something different. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this quilt. I have two real quilts made by my grandmother... they are softer than this. Answer:	It is thin - that's what a coverlet is. It is soft and thin. The color is true and the design is beautiful. A couple things about it that I didn't know before purchasing - the shams don't match the picture. They do not have a 2" edge like the picture shows. Also, it is heat-pressed to mimic real quilting and not truly a quilted pattern.

When you get this you need to wash it and tumble dry it to fluff up the fuzzy part (Chenille is the french word for caterpiller). The base part is medium weight cotton, but when you add the weight of the fluffy part this is definately on the heavy side.

Answer:	Tag says China. As much as I try to buy US as much as I can, not only vhf is it short of impossible to find the cost would have been 3 times as much. On a very limited income it's just not feasible most of the time. I very seldom rate anything but I was amazed at the quality for the price. I put in my son's room. He's here a few times a month and since both dogs sleep with him when he's here I needed something wash and dryable, wouldn't be prone to snags, not slippery and I took a chance. With all the limitations I was limited too 😁 Hope this helps. I find ratings iffy at best because you don't know the person or how they view things. I'm admittedly a companies worst nightmare customer. I expect quality and customer service. A good price is a waste of money if it's not what you need.

Answer:	I don't know, may depend on how long you have had it and the fact that it has been washed. I return items all the time that aren't prime and there is never a charge.

Answer:	I have never washed mine so I don’t know if it shrinks or not. I have a 4” foam topper on a thick mattress. Not home but I buy the extra deep Pocket sheets. It is plenty long and wide to cover mattress and box. I have a sleigh bed do it does not go all the way to the floor. It is longer than the wood sides of the rails on this bed

Answer:	Yes, there is some light green in the border and intermixed throughout the spread. Yes, it is light weight and appropriate for a summer spread. I love mine and it is quite beautiful in person.
Question:	Does anyone notice an odor? I washed once & still there. Love the spread and looking for a solution
Answer:	Mine has no order. Did not have one when I bought it and still doesn't. Hasn't been washed. I even went and smelled of it to be sure. You don't mention what sort of oder it is. If you are keeping it and want to see if you can make it smell better and want to wash again I would suggest trying something like the Downy scent beads. Maybe rinse a couple of times and then do a rinse and add the scent beads and be generous. If you aren't familiar with them they are an addition to laundry. I find they work best for things you want to make smell good for a lengthy time. Since you have already washed it once you are probably stuck keeping the bespread, other's may have some better ideas. I like to have a house that smells good so I frequently use scent burners. And have sprays to spray over fabric which is nice in a guest room when I want the room to smell welcoming when family comes home. None of these are lasting but the Downy does seem to last a while. Good luck. I bought this bedspread due to the size and price.

As I understand it, with a quilt you will need a bed ruffle, but you don't with a bedspread. I have a queen size on my queen size bed and the bedspread touches the floor all around - it's one that really fits like it should.
