Answer:	As long as the wheels fit securely in the recessed area of the risers, wheels are fine. The wheels need to fit inside a square 2 7/8" x 2 7/8". The square is 5/8" deep.

Answer:	I totally understand the question. On wood floors they do make a bit, not much but a bit of squeaking. On hard floors I have not heard any "odd" sounds coming from these. I would take into consideration the feet of the bed because they may also cause a sound.

Answer:	Unlikely. Not sure how using them only at the head would be desirable since it would make the bed imbalanced

Answer:	I would say not.. it didn’t last but a few months with my queen bed. Also that 9000 lb nonsense was what made me choose these. Very disappointed.

Answer:	It's not designed to support weight on the top of the cap's edge. The height of the cap lip is 5/8" so if you placed a 5/8" or slightly thicker piece of wood or other sturdy material, then it would work great.
