Answer:	I have only used this for travel but it works great. I could see where just sitting at home and watching TV this would be very comfortable as well. You really can't go wrong with it.

Answer:	There is only the rope at the top of the travel bag. So no. What I did was to buy 3M Velcro tape. I attached one side to the travel bag and the other to the top of my carry onbag.
