Question:

Are the ends coated in vinyl or anything to protect the tub from getting scratched

Answer:

The bottles occasionally fall over. I generally try to solve this by canting the bottles across multiple wires and also placing them flush against the door (or the back of the rack). But small travel bottles are more likely to fall over due to size. I don't think it's a big deal. I could not use an over-the-shower-head rack due to the height of my shower head and the extra hose attachment. This over the door rack has solved so many problems for me and I am thrilled. I think you will love it too.

Answer:	In general pearl has a shimmer and shiny, satin is just shiny.
Question:	Can you adjust the spacing of the shelves
Answer:	This did NOT work for my shower with a sliding door. Can't slide a door if this is attached! I should've thought of that PLUS it has no back, so if it moves or swings much everything falls out the back. Didn't work for my particular need. Quality seems good and it looks nice enough. Also- over the door U-shaped hooks are very deep. Would fit a 3-4" thick door but on my 1" door it has too much room and it falls forward.
Question:	How do you unlock the tension rod
Answer:	Inside depth is 2 1/4".

Question:	How stiff is the brush? i have a libman caddy and the brush is waaay too stiff - i want some give as i'm scrubbing. thx
Answer:	The bristles seem to be a medium stiffness - effective yet have some give. I think it's a really good brush.
Question:	Is there any way to remove the drip tray portion of the holder for emptying or cleaning? Does anyone clean this on a periodic basis
Answer:	There is no way to remove it and I used to put the toilet brush back into the holder immediately after use. Then, one day this past summer, we couldn't figure out what the smell was in our bathroom. Mind you, although we have central AC and a bathroom fan, this was an extremely hot, humid summer in NE. Nevertheless, I realized that it was the holder, not the brush, that we were smelling. I was mortified because I tend to be overly clean as far as housecleaning is concerned. I threw the whole unit away and ordered a new one. I now let the brush dry, over the bathroom sink, and then put it in the container. Then I wash the sink. And I also wash the drip tray portion the best I can. I still think OXO makes the best set for this purpose.
Question:	I own the old model which had a metal spring inside, causing rust to form throughout the canister and brush. Is this one all plastic with no metal
Answer:	I have 2 of these brushes that I have had for several years (4+). Don't know if it was the brush or something in the holder but both have started rusting. So bad that it leaked rusty water onto my new vinyl flooring. Looking to replace them with something that hopefully will not rust.
