Answer:	I was using it for one foot at a time but with this question, I gave both feet at the same time a try. It does work for my feet (which are a bit on the narrow end of the spectrum) but the very edges of my feet are off the roller a bit. Just the pinky toe area. The roller is 5 inches long.

Answer:	I threw it away already, but it's around 6" or 7". It slid across the floor every time I tried to use it.

Answer:	I suppose it's possible to do anything of a 'good' thing too much. What's wrong with your foot? Do you have plantar fasciitis? I typically use mine once a day. It helps to massage and loosen up the arches of my feet.

Answer:	I don't think so. You should be sitting when you use it. If you're using it for both feet, I run one foot over it while the other is resting on the other side then run my foot on the other side, then back and forth. Or, just one foot and I keep my foot on the other side but I don't have a problem with it falling over.
Question:	Can this be used for the heels
Answer:	This foot roller is designed primarily for the foot arches, to stimulate & knead the plantar fascia. It can be used for the heels as well, however, this takes more practice & your feet may slip off when it is too close to the edge of your feet. If you primarily want to use it for the heels, the Large Dual Foot Model may be better as it is made of multiple rollers and you can rest your entire feet (including the heels) on the rollers.
