User questions & answers
Question: | Does it come in another color metal? The medicnal brown color is awful |
Answer: | Not that I am aware of. A can of spray paint would work. |
Question: | The total weight I'll be putting on this table = Computer 24 lbs + junk, keyboard, typing pressure 10-15 lbs. Will it work for me |
Answer: | The weight limit for this table is 50lbs. |
Question: | Sitting in a chair does this go on your left or your right side? It says two different things in your description and "color". Thanks |
Answer: | The table may be placed on either side -- your choice. Be aware that you must order the correct model for placement on the side of choice. ( " Right" will have the swivel post on the right of the seated person.) |
Question: | Can the table be moved (slid) closer to me when I put my legs up -- then pushed back out when I sit upright -- and still stay parallel to the chair |
Answer: | Lance is correct. This must be used with a heavy chair. If you are talking about a recliner, it's perfect. I love mine. I keep my laptop on it and can easily push it aside to get up. The table top only pivots - it doesn't move forward and back. It will be farther away when you are reclining. How far depends on where you place the table in its starting position. I keep mine fairly tight when I am sitting up so it isn't uncomfortably far away when I recline. |

Question: | Can you "lock" the wheels so the table doesn't move? I have asked different sellers, 1 says they do and another says they do not. Can anyone confirm |
Answer: | We use this table with an adjustable hospital bed. Keeping this in mind, 29" works well at the lower bed elevation. The table height is adjustable and compatible for eating when the bed is elevated from the floor so as to allow the caregiver to work at a comfortable height. |
Question: | Where can I find the assembly instructions |
Answer: | Yes - two casters are locking. You can place the locking casters in any location, but the manufacturer recommends they both be placed opposite the vertical column. |
Question: | is this sturdy enough and height adjustable to use while sitting in a rocker/recliner-to use a large laptop |
Answer: | Two of the 4 can be locked |
Question: | How many inches off of the ground is the metal that are holding 2 wheels not connected to the table? Will this slide under a 4.5" Chair |
Answer: | All manual. You pull the lever to lower the table, and you lift the table to overcome its weight to raise it. To tilt, you unscrew a knob, rotate to the angle to your liking, and tighten the knob to secure. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is there a video to put it together? Thank you |
Answer: | The table is definitely sturdy enough to hold and use a laptop. Rest assured that it can manage the pressure and weight when leaned on. As for the height of the table with a rocker/recliner, that depends on the height of the chair and its armrests. The dimensions of the table given online were accurate. |
Question: | Putting underbed from my left. Can it be assembled so that small table on right |
Answer: | Hi, Thank you for your inquiry, the product specifications are below:Height (adjustable) 19.5" - 27.5"Weight 25 lbs.Carton Shipping Weight 28 lbs.Weight Limit 100 lbs.Base Dimensions 15" x 28"Tabletop Dimensions 15" x 30"Warranty Limited LifetimeShould you have any additional questions, please contact our technical support, toll-free at: (866) 621-4933. Thank you again, Deanna @ Drive |
Question: | What is the height from the ground to the wheels including the metal square tube? I would like the table be be able to fit beneath the couch |
Answer: | Could be tight but should work. The beds we use are lifted for storage underneath so we were more concerned with stability and size of the table which fit our needs perfectly. One table we received was damaged and exchanging was very simple; replacement table arrived quickly. |
Question: | What are the dimensions of each of the trays? I can't seem to find that anywhere |
Answer: | It's very stable assuming common sense. I use it because I have limited space so my bed is adjustable and is my only "seat" in my room. I have my 17" gaming laptop on it as well as a few remotes and mouse pad. It hasn't shown any signs whatsoever of being weak or wobbly. |

Question: | how high does it rise |
Answer: | Mine came with instructions. Either write to the manufacturer, giving them the full name of the table, or see if you can find general directions online. It is fairly intuitive to put together. I'm and old lady, and was able to put most of it together alone. It was only toward the end that it really took two people. |

Question: | Is this table easy to raise/lower? I need it to be REAL easy....preferably one-handed |
Answer: | yes, it is 6 inch wide, which is 15cm, and with the elasticity long to 15ft(4.5m) when stretched, the bandage is wide and long enough for rib wrapping |
Question: | Does the top tilt both ways so that it can go on the left or right side of the bed |
Answer: | I have not tried to cut it but I’m sure you could. Its nit very long at all, glad I ordered two. The velcro sticks anywhere. |
Question: | What is the height of the casters? I have a underbed clearance of only 3.5" - was wondering if it would roll under the bed |
Answer: | Here on Amazon. I bought that type of bandage from Amazon, and it has served its purpose very well. It wraps neatly, does not stretch out and lose elasticity, and the velcro fastener holds firmly. |
Question: | will my lap top be secure from sliding off the table |
Answer: | about 5' or so.... |

User questions & answers
Question: | What clearance is needed for the base to fit under a bed |
Answer: | I assume you are asking how high the base (with the wheels) on it is. Answer: not to high, I estimate 3 1/2 inches max. But that's a guess. This is a great table by the way. It's very sturdy. All metal. |
Question: | does this table tilt |
Answer: | This table cannot tilt. |
Question: | This is perfect for my needs. I use it as a laptop table. It is sturdy, the problem I have is the table top slants downward. Can it be adjusted |
Answer: | The table is generally good quality materials, but there are two small brackets welded to the main support pedestal that the table top bolts to that are critical to whether the top slopes down from the pedestal to the free hanging end of the top. The weld quality is probably OK, but the placement of the brackets appears to be the problem. I had checked the previous reviews before I bought this table, and noticed that there were multiple comments about the top sloping down, and some had added washers below the top to solve the problem. When I receive my table, the first thing I did was to check the table top and the top of the pedestal to see what the problem was, and if it varied from table to table. I found the brackets on mine were OK on the outside of the pedestal (Opposite the long part of the table, but the bracket toward the inside (long side of table) was at least 1/16" lower on the pedestal than the flush location where the brackets should have been welded. I made a trip to the hardware store to buy some washers before I assembled the table. I bought a couple of flat standard washers and a couple of lock washers. I ended up needing only the lock washers, but regular washers would have worked as well. I wanted to have a few options to make it work, and just adding the two lock washers did the trick. After completing the assembly according to the instructions, except for adding the lock washers between the table top and the brackets on the two bolts on the long side of the table top. This leveled the table top to avoid the sagging long end noted by others for less than a dollar. Although I would recommend the table manufacturer change their welding jigs so the 1/16" gap can be reduced to level with the pedestal top, I doubt that the manufacturer really cares or it would have already been fixed. The 1/4" diameter lock washers or standard washers are common enough that many people would have them in a toolbox or in a collection of common fasteners frequently accumulated by home owners, I had given mine away when I moved from my house to the senior housing I now live in. But I have a couple of spares in my toolbox now if ever needed. |
Question: | what is the inside measurement of the base side to side? thanks |
Answer: | The previous poster who quoted 20" and 15" measured the outside and inside of one of the side legs. If I understand you correctly, you're looking for the inside measurement inside the 2 open ends of the U-shaped base. This measurement would tell you how wide of a chair you could use with this table. There's a very small, slightly rounded part on the inside corners of the bottom/closed end of the U. The inside measurement at the bottom is 26". The inside base measurement on the open end is 26.25". |

Question: | Do the wheels lock |
