Each drop is 100IU so a recommended dose for birth to age one is 4 drops (400IU), age 1 to 70 is 6 drops (600IU) and 70+ is recommended 8 drops (800IU). Or you can take your doctor recommended dose by adjusting how many drops you need. A full dropper is about 5000IU, so you can make adjustments for higher doses based on that, rather than counting out the drops.

Answer:	One drop is 500 IU. Because my stomach has had problems with vitamin D in pill form, I split my daily intake into 2 doses of 2,000 IU (4 drops per dose) and always take them with meals as recommended. So far, so good. No stomach/ gut issues and the coconut oil is tastes good. The dropper also seems like it will last until the bottle is empty. I am not having some of the problems reported with other brands of liquid D3 (yet).

Answer:	It's best to take them separately throughout the day so your body will absorb it because if you take too much at once you will just urinate most of it out because your body can only absorb so much at one time.
