Answer:	I haven’t been faithfully using it. My eye doctor recommended it for my eyes as I have so many conditions of the eye. For that reason it does help. However I should start taking it again to see if it helps my skin. I never heard about flaxseed as a benefit for skin. I have sensitive skin conditions too. Answer:	Just store them in the pantry. Personally? I threw them out! LOL - I have a thing about strange textures and smells. They smelled strange; you have to rinse them for about 3 or 4 minutes (they come packed in water) then put them in boiling water for 3 minutes, then put them in a dry pan to dry them out. I couldn't stand the texture. But, I also cannot eat gummy bears, cooked mushrooms, or any other texture like that. You may be able to eat them fine, nut my texture phobia (for lack of a better term) had me tossing them out. Good luck!

Answer:	I have have used flax seed oil on numerous pieces of Lodge cast iron and it has been superb....far, far better than other oils or bacon fat. Just remember to strip off any old or the "factory" seasoning first and bake at very high (500 degree) temperature as per the article cited by the Amazon Customer below. I have not used this brand of oil, and would avoid using an oil that has any husks in it.I bought another brand that is listed here in the 8.45 ounce bottle at my local supermarket for $8.99. As you use very little oil on each seasoning layer, that bottle will do many, many pots and pans.
Question:	I just bought a bottle and the oil tastes bitter! People from a flax oil forum say fresh flax oil is not supposed to taste bitter. So is this normal
Answer:	Flax oil should not be bitter. This is a sign of rancidity. I had the same problem with this product. I returned it, and began buying my flax oil locally, where it can be refrigerated until it is sold. The flax oil I buy locally does not have a bitter taste.
