Answer:	Yes, it does work. I bought a very inexpensive $88 silver metal frame futon from Walmart. It came with a cheap foam mattress that had gotten flat within a month of sitting on it. This new futon mattress works perfectly on that frame. This futon frame that I have does not have the two guards on the front bottom, that some futon frames have to prevent the mattress from sliding forward though. I have to say that if it did, then this mattress would not work; I would have to take those guards off. This mattress does not slide and looks perfect as is with the frame.

Answer:	I'm not sure if it's slow release, but I will say it was the only iron supplement my Celiac daughter could tolerate. It helped her bring her iron levels up when nothing else worked. (She eventually went for three rounds of iron infusions, which was covered by insurance, and was the best solution of all.) If you find you cannot tolerate iron supplements of any kind, I suggest you talk to your doctor about getting iron infusions. Good luck!

Floradix is an excellent source of iron, I found it to be non constipating and after a severe staph infection in my spine and a long course of antibiotics which damaged my blood this product helped to bring back my red blood cell count. Answer:	Sodium Hydroxide is a VERY COMMON natural compound (found all over the Desert Southwest as 'alkali')...and is used in Geritol (in TINY AMOUNTS) to level the pH of what would otherwise be VERY acidic, combined with the fact that elemental iron is one of the HARDEST substances for the human body to absorb and process (fast enough, anyhow, that you can use it before your body excretes it in a waste-stream). The Sodium Hydroxide is used to assist your body in breaking down the citrus (acid) ferrite (iron) by raising the pH to match your body's pH level...it also prevents MASSIVE stomach upset as a result. Answer:	It is the same as geritol tonic. The large packaging makes it easier to use up, as I can only find the small bottles in the stores. Good deal on the price of combo purchase of 3 bottles. It does give you energy. I take in morning in couple ounces of orange juice. Work well for me. It does take about 3 days (72 hrs to really get into your system and I use daily. If energy level is up, you can take every other day or so.
