Answer:	I have to Cath in a bag so as I'm pouring urine out I run the test strip under it and it works just fine. The only difference between my bags and the container you're probably using is my bags are sterile so I'd make sure you use a clean container so the test isn't contaminated.

Answer:	It did for me and it has for my mother. But that said, it does not show what bacteria is causing the infection - only that you have one. My doctor sent a urine culture to the lab and e coli came back as one of the infecting agents. The strip used at the doctor's office came back negative even though I had a terrible infection so I trust AZO.

Answer:	They do have an expiration date. In my experience, you usually have between a year and two years before they are expired. They are very reliable, as far as the test results.

If the test strip does not change color or is always a color, it may be because the acidity and alkalinity of the tested liquid is 6, which is yellow just like the color of the test strip, or the pH values of the tested liquids are almost the same.

The reason for this is that the reagents on the reaction pads start to deteriorate once you open the seal and the strips get exposed to air and humidity. This is normal for these types of strips.
