Answer:	Actually it is extremely small. I purchased this for my 12 year old quarter horse gelding who was on a severely restricted diet because of a stomach disease that eventually caused his demise. However, I used this with some success for 10 months. It was the only way he could graze. The design is very impractical, I had to enlarge the opening for it to be useful. It is too small for grazing as it comes. Very frustrating for the horse. Once I enlarged the hole, it was fine.
