It’s probably coated nylon to make it waterproof and sweat proof and to give it some puncture resistance. Mine is fine but maybe they have changed materials since I purchased mine.

It was supposed to arrive end of April, payment was deducted, and it said it would be deliver on specific date but then it said there was a delay. I tried to cancel, but it said that it was already in the process of being shipped. New update said it was supposed to arrive between 5/11-5/13. I got excited when I received a UPS tracking confirmation to arrive on 5/13. But every time I checked tracking it basically said that the label was created and that UPS is basically waiting for the product so they can ship it. The update I got was that it was supposed to be delivered by 8pm today, 5/14. Nothing arrived, UPS still says its waiting for the item. Now it says it should arrive by this wknd. But I have a feeling it won't. Have no idea what's going on here. Smh

Answer:	Hello. This mat is good. For small things. It is a little less durable then some of the better quality mats. My granddaughters did play with it outsidebut we used it on grass. Depending on the activity you are doing would determine using it on concreate. It is something like stretching and yoga I think it would be fine. If you are going to do acrobatic stuff I might be a little nervous. I hope this helps.
