Pads need to seal flush with the skin, air gaps caused by hair, joints, wrinkles etc. will cause the pad to arc, sending a shock ( or bite ). Answer:	6 different modes for 30 minutes but if you don't like the mode just adjust it and it will start again in the new mode you have to play with it to see which mode you like best for which body part you are working with I presently work with my neck and shoulder and love it. I have had it for 4 months and started using it right after i stopped physical therapy. It also has 6 area zones which helps you set it for the area you will be working on your body. Like I said works great just as good as the therapy ones.

Answer:	There really is no need to differentiate. Each channel lead wire is bifurcated into two plugs, one + and one -. The pads themselves are all identical, they behave as the wire you plug it into...you will always have 1 + and 1- pad to complete the circuit for each lead cord and as it makes no difference where you position the + or - pads on your body except that they must be within reasonable distance of each other for the electric current to travel through the muscle from pad to pad, why give yourself a headache trying to keep them straight? You would never get two positives or two negatives on a single channel lead. When you are using both channels all you have to do is keep the channel leads separated.

Answer:	I bought this straight out as my hubby has a bum back between l4 and l5 - this thing seriously does the trick he could be hunched over in pain put this on and within 15 minutes he is not pain free but he can actually move himself around - I was scared to use it myself as my back is messed up from the neck to the tailbone and one night i was in so much pain i could not sleep so i put it on and went thru the first 15 minutes and then turned it back on and needless to say i woke up several hours later so i had gotten comfortable enough to fall asleep within the next 15 minute run cycle

Then you will need to scroll up/down, to start feeling anything, usually need to go up to about a 10 out of 20 to start feeling anything. Make sure the cord is firmly in the unit. It is a very tight fit. If not seeded right, unit will not work.

Question:	So many different tens ems unit, why do pick nursal
Answer:	My pads have lasted over a year with very regular use. Here is what I've learned. 1) Use them on clean skin. No lotions, massage oils etc.2) Get a small saucer of water, dip your finger into it and rub the contact (adheive) side of the pad before you put it on and after you take it off. This keeps the adhesive from drying out. Just a few drops per pad. Don't need to power wash it.3) Don't connect to the leads until you put them on. Have a friend / partner help if needed.4) Hold the connectors close to the end when you connect and disconnect. In other words, don't grab them by the wires and try to plug them in. ESPECIALLY when disconnecting.5) Take extra care NOT to pull on the cord once attached. #1 cause of damage is the wires getting damaged.6) Gently remove by pulling the corner of the pad. DO NOT pull the wires!!!7) Disconnect and immediately clean the adhesive side with water and stick back on the plastic card they came with.
Question:	Do the pads have unlimited uses, or do they wear out? If so,how would I get replacement pads
Answer:	Yes to both; however, the pads can be rejuvenated by using a light mix of Dawn and warm water, running your finger with a coating of the mix across the pads and re-placing them on the plastic card they are stored on and carefully resealing the zip-lock bag to prevent the adhesive from drying out. I have had none fail, but would not wish to be caught when in need, waiting for replacements! The oils from your skin are the culprit, along with allowing them to be stored and exposed to drying out in ambient conditions; thus the oil & perspiration issue. Simply peel them off your skin, re-attach and you're good to go. In some instances, I will leave them on and wired throughout the day, repeating the treatments as needed.Great units!!
