Answer:	The best distance can be vary from person to person, generally, the best magnifying result would be anywhere from 2" to 4.5" above the objects/small prints, the point is to see objects/small prints clearly, some people see clearly and feel most comfortable for their eyes with distance 2.5" while other may find 3.5" to 4".

Answer:	My son purchased this for me, it works well for magnifying but ut it is heavy. I am not elderly, but I cannot sit and read with it. Question:	I lost one of them while I was washing. Can I buy just one
Answer:	No, my 90 shepherd had this xl donut and he could still get to his ft and bk paw pads to lick. His surgical area was high up near rt elbow and he could NOT get to that area.

Answer:	My cat had surgery on one of his back paws. I used this product exactly as the shown in the photo with a longer part on the bottom. As long as it's shaped in a cone and not flat, you should be okay. I don't know about turning it around however.
Question:	I don't know how long they stay stuck, but do have a suggestion for the video: put a strainer in the drain
Answer:	After hand-washing, ring-out water as much as possible. Lay collar flat inside a double-folded bath towel and use a rolling pin to roll-out more water and then hang up in a warm/sunny location. I actually put mine in the clothes dryer on "Delicate" for 20-minutes. I figured if it starts to fray or pull apart, I'll be getting out the needle and thread to repair the collar. I also gave the cat strict orders not to get it dirty again!

How to Apply Hydrotac Lenses

Instructions: (see video on this page to watch how we apply)

1. Use dish detergent and warm water and clean your lenses on the inside using lots of running water under the sink until no suds remain. (be careful not to drop your Hydrotacs down the drain)

2. Under running water, wet your lenses and the Hydrotac and place the Hydrotac on the bottom inside of your lens while applying light pressure. Repeat for other lens. (the curve of the Hydrotac should be in the same direction as your lens, typically convex to convex)

3. Remove from water and pat dry with a paper towel. If placement is not correct or bubbles are present, peel off and start over.

4. While ready for immediate use, it's a good idea to let sit for up to 2 hours before using. If bubbles do form after a few hours or day, you'll need to repeat the process again. For a finishing touch, lightly wipe your Hydrotac with included Koala Kloth to remove any fingerprints remaining from application process.

Answer:	These are placed at the bottom and inside the lens. I don't see how they can be easily scratched. I haven't had any issues with this.

Answer:	Maybe. I have a husky and he ate the Velcro strap that held it together. I tried 2 other different kinds and the 3rd that worked was the old school plastic collar from the vet.

Answer:	Mine weighs 6 5/8 ounces with batteries and the large magnifier on. I used my kitchen scale. It is light, you will not really feel the weight while using it.
