Question:	What type of batteries
Answer:	Yes, it takes three steps. When you finish recording, press the stop button, then the back/"rewind" button immediately to the left of the record button. Then, press play. If you just press play after recording without pressing the back button, all you get is about one second of playback at the end of the recording. I don't see how to do it in two steps. But it would be nice if it worked that way. Maybe Philips could include an option in one of the settings menus that would allow users to select an "auto rewind at end of recording" setting or mode. Wishful thinking. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Answer:	There's no limit on the amount of files per folder. Files can't be named on the recorder itself, only on the computer, when downloaded.

Answer:	Hi! My name is Sara and I am with Beyond Med Shop. Usually, it takes about 10 seconds after turning on the oximeter to get a reading. Please note though that when your blood perfusion level is low or when your hands are cold, the device may need more time to optimize and register an accurate reading. In this instance, we suggest that you warm your hands and fingers before taking the measurements. You can do this simply by rubbing your hands together. Remember your pulse oximeter is measuring your SpO2 and PR based on your blood flow. If the blood flow in your finger drops below a certain level, the pulse oximeter will not be able to function. Answer:	Yes I have and the heart rate is very close. I have several of these and COPD and this ones heart rate at least the one that I have is very good. On the cell phone app which is called Oximeter the oxygen sensor is way off like 5 points high which is critical and I was told that the cell phone oximeter was more designed for sports than for actual health problems! as an example a five point spread could cause major organ damage do to low oxygen!

Answer:	Yes, it certainly does. To change units on your thermometer, press the ON/OFF button twice in rapid succession while the thermometer is turned on. To change the units used in the app, click on the “Menu” icon and select the “Settings” icon. An icon will be displayed to indicate which mode the thermometer is in. Touch the icon to switch modes. Question:	What’s the best way to clean this so not to damage the thermometer if sharing amongst the family
Answer:	You can clean the probe before and after use with a damp, soapy cloth or by disinfecting it with rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl alcohol). Then, just wipe it dry with a soft cloth and you'll be all set! We hope that helps. :-)

Answer:	The Kinsa QuickCare smart thermometer can take and show temperature readings on its own, BUT there are some things you should know if you don't want to use any smart features. Out of the box, QuickCare shows "APP" on the display. This prompts you to connect with the Kinsa app before it will let you take readings. In a pinch, you can temporarily skip this APP message and take readings immediately by quickly double pressing the button. Important Tips for All Temperature Readings

• Always wait for three flashing lines on the display before every reading. Wait at least 15 minutes to take a reading after eating, drinking, exercising or bathing.
• If you or your Kinsa were outside on a cold day, wait until you are used to the new temperature before taking a reading.
• A person’s body temperature will fluctuate depending on the time of the day. The best method to determine your own normal temperature is to record it twice a day (early morning and late afternoon) when feeling well. The average of the two is considered your normal body temperature.

Underarm Readings

Wipe armpit with a dry towel and make sure that no clothes are in the way. Place the thermometer probe in the armpit and keep your arm pressed firmly against the body. In general, a normal underarm temperature is considered 35.8°C - 37.2°C (96.5°F - 98.9°F). Also, please note that underarm readings are typically 0.6°C (1°F) lower than oral readings; this is perfectly normal. The Kinsa app automatically takes underarm readings into account when calculating the severity of the fever, but it does not artificially add that 0.6°C (1°F) to the temperature reading.

Oral Readings

For oral readings, always place the probe tip of the thermometer in your mouth’s heat pocket - under the tongue at the back of the mouth. Keep your mouth closed while the temperature reading is being taken. The temperature in one spot of the mouth can be very different from another so always put the probe tip in the same heat pocket for every reading. A normal oral temperature is considered 36.1°C - 37.7°C (97.0°F - 99.9°F).

Rectal Readings

Consider applying a bit of petroleum jelly on the QuickCare tip to make it easier to insert. Place your baby on a firm surface, either on her stomach or back, with legs lifted up to the chest (think diaper-changing position). Insert the probe tip about ½ inch inside the rectum. Never insert the probe past the metal tip. Stop if you meet any resistance. Hold QuickCare between two fingers while keeping your hand cupped around your baby's bottom (you might need to squeeze the cheeks together to hold it in place). Remember, rectal temperatures tend to be about 0.3°C (0.5°F) higher than oral and 0.6°C (1°F) higher than underarm readings. In general, a normal rectal temperature is considered 36.4°C - 37.9°C (97.5°F - 100.3°F). If you'd like to verify your results, be sure to wait 5 minutes first for the most accurate second reading.

Answer:	You can cut the whole bottom out and the outside will still stay inflated if you cut holes in the bottom it just won’t hold air we have one the kids use like a inner tube because the bottom ripped so I cut it out.

Answer:	I would probably not use it for river tubing unless it was a very calm river. We purchased this raft to take out on a pond and the first trip it got a hole before we even use it. The best we could figure is it got caught by a briar on the way. If one small briar put a hole in it, I don't know if it would hold up to any rocks or branches that may be in a river.

Why Measure in the Ear?

Ear temperatures accurately reflect core body temperature, since the ear drum shares a blood supply with the temperature control center in the brain: the hypothalamus.

Smart Ear thermometer monitors the infrared heat radiated from the eardrum and surrounding tissue and detects once an accurate temperature measurement has been taken.

Taking a Temperature

Ensure the ear is clear of earwax and debris and the tip of the thermometer is clean.

Choose one ear to use for readings and stick to it. There is a small temperature difference between both sides of the head and so choosing one ear will produce more precise readings.

Smart Ear uses an infrared ray to measure the temperature inside the ear. To ensure the most accurate reading, please use the proper technique:

For infants under the age of 1, gently tug the ear straight back to straighten the ear canal before taking a reading.

For children over the age of 1 and adults, gently tug the ear straight up and back before taking a reading.

Cleaning & Storage

The probe tip is the most delicate part of the thermometer. It must be clean and intact to ensure accurate readings. If there is any debris left on the sensor window at all, it will throw off readings.

To clean the probe tip, use a cotton swab with alcohol and gently clean the small round window at the tip of the sensor.

Smart Ear is designed to be used without probe covers so you never have to worry about refills. Clean the probe before and after every use.

Product Overview

The Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test is the only one that typically identifies your 4 best days to get pregnant naturally - 2 more days than any other test [1]. It identifies your 2 Peak Fertility days (Peak Fertility remains on the display continuously for 2 days) and, typically, 2 High Fertility days by accurately tracking 2 key fertility hormones, luteinizing hormone (LH) and estrogen - plus your 2 typically High Fertility days before that. So you have more opportunities to get pregnant naturally [2].

Once High Fertility has been detected (flashing smiley face), the holder will continue to display High Fertility until Peak Fertility has been identified.

Its unique smart algorithm is the only one that can adapt every time you test to indicate your wider personal fertility window.

FAQs

Q1. Do I keep testing after I receive a Peak result? How long is the Peak result supposed to remain on the display?

A1. It is not possible to continue testing once Peak Fertility is displayed. Peak Fertility symbol will show on the day it is first detected and the day after. Therefore it will remain on the display for 48 hours after it is first detected and indicates that you are at your most fertile.

You cannot perform another test while there is a result on the display. After Peak Fertility is displayed you must stop testing for this cycle. You can save any remaining test sticks for use in a future cycle if required but you must use the same Holder for a cycle of testing (do not change Holders part way through a cycle of use). You can test more than one time a day once the High Fertility symbol has been displayed.

Q2. What time of the day should I test?

A2. To make sure that the hormone levels in your urine are concentrated enough for the test to detect, it is important to use the first urine after your longest sleep. This is especially important for the detection of High Fertility as most estrogen production takes place while you sleep.

Q3. What does it mean if the test goes straight from Low Fertility to Peak Fertility?

A3. This product tracks the changes in estrogen and luteinizing hormone (LH) throughout the menstrual cycle. If the necessary changes in estrogen are detected the Holder will display High Fertility and if the necessary changes in LH are detected the Holder will display Peak Fertility.

If the hormone changes naturally occur close together it is possible that High Fertility may not be displayed and that the Holder will change from Low Fertility to Peak Fertility without displaying High Fertility. We would like to reassure you that this does not mean that your product is faulty and that you have still detected your two most fertile days to try to conceive.

However if tests are missed or not performed correctly (i.e., missampled, mistimed or a weak concentration of urine is used) then your High Fertility results can also be affected.
