Question:	Can i reset the comfort range? 79 degrees f is much too high to be comfortable imo
Answer:	Actually the temp does have a bearing on the comfort indicator as amorina states. It will need to be a minimum of 20 degrees and between 50 and 70% humidity to indicate as comfortable. I agree with you that this is a little high and perhaps 18 would be ok. Other sources state that 40% humidity is ideal so who knows!I think just go with what feels right. In answer to your question though unfortunately the comfort range can not be reset or altered.

Answer:	In China. I bought 3 of them, but don't find them useful. The setting for humid, dry, comfort is inaccurate for a relativity level reading in a home environment. At least in the Midwest region. They say 49% is dry when in fact it's too much for a home to carry, at least in the winter colder temps.

Answer:	This is probably too late to be of use to the original poster, but maybe it will help someone. I purchased mine in March of '17 and the unit just died on me this past weekend, I was still using the original battery. I changed the battery and the thermometer was still dead, but that's less than $10 for nearly 2 years of service on a single battery.

Answer:	Hi Chip, if you turn the thermometer off, whilst off press the button down and hold it and this will show you your prior reading. When you release there will be another reading usually be 97.70F which is the calibration temperature used during its manufacture and does not relate to the last reading. Answer:	The explanation is very simple. The seller doesn't know the difference between discrimination and accuracy. The thermometer can discriminate changes of .01°, but that doesn't mean it is accurate to within .01°, it is only accurate to .05°. If you are using the thermometer for ovulation testing, and it is always off by the same amount, then it still accurately shows the change in temperature over time, even if it doesn't accurately show the absolute value of the temperature.

Question:	Would these work in a fifth wheel rv basement? We need to keep water lines from freezing in cold weather camping
Answer:	It's just a thermometer and won't keep anything from freezing. I think it will work for you. I like being able to see it from 10± feet but I'm disappointed with accuracy in sunlight. (It says 90° when it's obviously 70°)
Question:	What is the height and width of this product
Answer:	The size in 15 1/2" height x 2" width
Question:	Can the temperture be seen at an angle or do you have to be directly in front of the thermometer to see what the reading is
Answer:	You might be able to see it from a slight angle, but it's best to be directly in front of it. Unfortunately, the thermometer they sent me is consistently under-reporting the temp by 12 to 13 degrees. I tried everything I could think of to remedy the situation, but to no avail. I will be putting mine in the trash.
Question:	Does this work in all-day direct sun? I want to get one for the shade, and one for the sun
Answer:	You should never, ever put a thermometer in direct sunlight. You are then trying to measure the temperature of the sun, and you could ruin the thermometer. Outdoor temperature always refers to the temperature of the air, which can only be measured in in the shade.

Question:	I'm getting readings that are all over the place. Is this really an accurate reading? 2.5 degree F temperature difference on consecutive measurements
Answer:	I think most thermometers will give you different readings, sometimes widely, if you use take measures too close to each other in time (e.g., if you use check temperature twice within 10 second). I use a very good German-made therostat and still have the same problem. I think if you check you temperature, wait for a couple minutes or so and check again, and it's a good thermometer if it gives you relatively similar readings. A more important thing is whether an ear or forehead thermometer gives readings that are close enough to an under-the-tongue thermometer.
Question:	I did not receive a manual. does anyone know what the "m" button is for? every time i push it, the number goes up by
Answer:	The M is for memory. After you take your temperature wait for it to go off then press the M and it will show 1 then flash the last temperature reading. Press again and a 2 will show then it will show the previous temp before number one.
Question:	keeps reading Er1? does not give temp reading. any advice
Answer:	If the screen reading is "Er1", that means the ambient is not range, pls take a measurement under an ambient temperature between 10℃ (50.0℉) and 40℃ (104℉)。
