Answer:	I own this brace and the 875. I purchased both in 2014. I use the 875 every week in Houston while playing tennis and the 872 is used about 1/2 the time on the other knee. I tried on many brands and the Shock Doctors felt like they gave me the best support but everybody's knee is different. I don't see any excessive wear on the 875 even though I have been using it 3 hours a week for 6 years in the high humidity and heat of Houston. I can push off as hard as possible and it does not slow me down. I would not call it comfortable but it is very comforting to know I can't hurt my knee.
Question:	Is there some way to select whether the brace is for the left or right knee

Question:	I measured 2" below the center of the knee cap and got 14.25" to 14.5" . Would you recommend the L or XL
Answer:	Mine measured at 15.25, which I could have gone with the XXL instead of the XL. My only issue was when it was new, it was very difficult to put on, because it fit me really tight/snug and it doesn't help that my calf muscle is pretty well formed. I have had it for a few weeks now and it has stretched a little, but it is still snug, easier to pull up now. So, to kind of answer your question....I usually am an XL, so I went with XL. You are like me, you are in that in between size where you could go either way, I would just go with the way you think would better suite you. I like that fact that it's snug, I feel like the XXL would have become a little loose. Hope that helps.

It stays in place all day and is very comfortable. I have a. severed meniscus tendon in my knee which gives me sort of a "trick knee". The brace has a range of motion settings so, for example, when I walk I set it to be sort of stiff leg, which keeps my knee from buckling forward. I can open it up for full motion to use the bicycle machine at the gym. All in all it is a heavy duty, quality product. I have had it for about two months and I am very happy with it.

I only take it off when I shower. I have femoral nerve damage from cancer surgery. The front top of my r/h leg is totally numb. This brace is adjustable for movement. I limit my movement to only 10 degrees, any further and I will fall. I have worn this style brace for over 18 months and I should add this is my 3rd individual brace. When the brace becomes loose or sloppy, I just get another brace because I can’t find replacement straps. The entire brace is less than $100.00 so it’s a good value. As I write this, I think I’ll order another one and use my current one for shower duty.

Answer:	Well I do not play soccer or football anymore, but I do power walk (3.5 MPH) over 20 miles per day and kayak 2 hours per day wearing the brace the entire time. I put the brae on in the morning, taking it off in the early evening, meaning about 14 hours of continuous wear. I have found the brace to be very comfortable during the entire time. Without the brace, I can not walk more than a 1/4 mile before my knee hurts. With the brace, I have no problem. So for me, this brace has been wonderful.

Answer:	I had a 42 lb Siberian Husky mix and purchased a right knee medium for him. If you look at the listing, on the left hand side are a group of pictures, a couple of which show you how and where to measure your dog to ensure you get the right size...you can't go by weight alone. For example, the girth of a 50 lb Basset Hound would be different than the girth of a 50 lb Border Collie, so please measure according to the instructions. I have knee brace that I use for dirt bike riding that protection the knee cap and support the knee properly. Answer:	Yes the brace can get wet, my wife got hers wet several times while she was using it. The brace is made of plastic, the padding is foam covered with nylon and velcro. The knee joint is geared and lubed so after extended use near water a person may need to add lithium grease to keep it working smoothly. It is a great brace for the price.
