I have seen so many knee replacements go bad at 69 years old I am not willing to take the chance. I replace mine every year because the wear and tear of taking them off they just get shabby looking. These are for not for 'frog' kicking, that is too much stress on the joint. I have a friend who is a proffesional swim coach an I am still swimming three days a week.

My knee is about 16.5 inches and I found that the medium was too tight; the large was a better fit.

Question:	I have a musclular problem, very weak knees. They sometimes just give out when walking (with a cane) and I fall down. Will these support me
Answer:	I'm not sure that this particular support wrap would be the answer to your particular condition. Although it would provide some support I'm not so sure that if your knees are giving out on you that that this one would keep you from falling down. I had injured my knee skiing years back and my knee from time to time will ache and become sore and some what weak. The Ace wrap seems to help me in that regard. You may need to consider something that is more like a brace since you mention a muscular condition and that your knees give out and you fall down. If you haven't already I would see an orthopedic doctor about your condition or a doctor who deals in sport medicine and injuries and see what they would recommend.

Question:	does this knee brace cover back side of leg or is it open behind the knee
Answer:	Yes, there will be an opening on the back of the knee, between where the upper and lower straps wrap around your leg. The size of the opening probably depends on how well the brace fits your leg, if you can barely get the straps to connect at the Velcro pads, the opening may be larger. The opening helps cool your legs, particularly in hot, humid summer weather where your knee will sweat a lot. Most braces I've owned have an opening at the back, except slip on models like Mueller Hg80.
Question:	Will this brace help with balance
Answer:	Probably only a doctor could answer this question. There are many causes for balance problems. For me, the brace has worked well for a knee problem and strained leg muscles. After about 10 days of use, I no longer use the brace.

Answer:	You can wear the knee strap either up or down, as it seems the straps are equal length. The Velcro straps on both ends pass through a slot in the body of the strap. One Velcro strap tightens to right side, the other to left side. Hop this helps.

Answer:	To be honest, i hated this one. It didn't really fit well or comfortably. Luckily I found my usual one which i can 120% recommend. It's a Mueller, XL. Answer:	Yes it should be fine. Will say though I ordered it after trying to get another Ace knee support which I had previously ordered which was white. The white one is no longer available in 1X so I ordered the black one. I feel the white one is more supportive than the black. In that case 1X was comfortable and feel it was a better fit. Since I can't seem to find it on Amazon I will be checking drugstores and places like Walmart/Target when I get to them to see if I can find the better suited, to my needs, the white knee support..

Answer:	The one that I bought is white as shown on the package, however I recommend that if you aren't satisfied with your purchase send the item back & request a refund.

Answer:	Sorry, I use medium size which are 9 inches long
Question:	The box shows this bandage as white. When I received my baces they were grey and white. Are they supposed to be white
Answer:	I thought that just happened to me. I also wanted this white elastic brace and they sent the gray and white which is not the same. I like this white brace as when I work out I need a little pressure on my knee to remind me not to do anything crazy. Since you got the different item too, I assume they not longer have the white one. I went online to find it as I could not find it in any stores. I will probably try to use this one once my 2 older white ones die.
Question:	how to measure
Answer:	I did not order a large since I am 5.3" and weigh 107 pounds, but the small one is 11.5 inches around at the top. The support is perfect without cutting off circulation. Hope that helped.
