Answer:	if the park is paved, it would push easily and can get through places that a regular wheelchair wouldn't fit. It doesn't work very well on carpet or yard, etc. It would fit an 8 yr old very well. The seat belt would keep them safely in the seat. The footrest isn't adjustable, but if they can't reach it, there is nothing for them to hit their feet on. I would suggest some kind of padded seat as the one it comes with isn't very thick. It only weighs around 17 lbs., folds easily and certainly takes up less room than a wheelchair.

Not sure if they could reach the non-adjustable foot rest, but there is nothing for them to hit their feet on if they are just hanging (not for extended periods of course). From the seat to the top of armrest is 10", so you would have to check to see if a child's arms would rest comfortably on them and not too high on their sides.. Would definitely use the seat belt Maneuvers well around things, and goes through doorways very easily. Doesn't go really well on carpet, but is very easy to move on plain floors.

Answer:	I have worn my brace underneath golf shirts without detection. The brace has a low profile but can, in my opinion, can be detected. Regarding dress shirt, it would depend on the shirt and preferred fit of that shirt. A cotton classic fit shirt would work best. A tighter fitting 'Euro' fit shirt may be more revealing. Also, transparency of the shirt fabric would be an issue. A lighter weight white fabric dress shirt would reveal the brace... much like a white sleeveless tank type T-shirt can be detected.
