Answer:	This brace was for my partner who has bad night clenching on his right wrist. This is his response: I have a skinny wrist and slender hand, and if I fully put my hand into this brace as shown in the product picture, my hand can still clench but at least my wrist won't flex with it. What I do instead is lower my hand's position a bit further down the brace so that the base of my fingers are hugging the bean-bag. This keeps my fingers and my wrist straight. This has eased a TON of tension in my wrist and has eased a lot of the discomfort/inflammation I've had. Sleeping with this on has been uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it.

Answer:	They are definitely provide good compression support. They help with sore tendons but don't really stabilize your wrist so you won't bend/curl them when using hand weights or bands. As for beng the best brand or quality, I researched and read reviews on Amazon and they scored hghly. Answer:	It is flexible. It is not very wide so does not give much support. I ended up buying the Ace one and use these for sleeping.

Regardless this is a simple wrist support if you only have a minor problem like a little muscle strain where you can get by with just a little support. You wrap this tight but it loosens up pretty quick. Its pretty easy to snag the Velcro end on something causing it to become loose. Is this the best brand for minor support strains I have no idea. Check other items being sold that are similar and reader responses on how long they last. Hope this helps in any decision.

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure about carpal tunnel. My doctor recommended it to me for a torn ligament that needs surgery, but I'm allergic to anesthesia. It didn't help me at all, but the doctor knew that it might not. I will say this. It is very un-noticeable. In fact, it looks like a somewhat "rad" leather bracelet, the younger kids wear (anyone is a kid to me under 50). So it would give you support for any wrist injury or nerve situation, like carpal tunnel, if you want to wear it without everyone asking you, "What did you do to your wrist?" I didn't find it particularly comfortable, but I have a lot of swelling in my wrist. I'm no doctor, for sure, but it you want support without an ugly wrist brace, I don't believe it can hurt you. And support is still support, better than no support at all. My 2 cents. Hope it helps.

My wrist hurts, how do I know if it’s the TFCC?

Some common signs and symptoms of a TFCC tear are:

• Pain, localized to the ulnar (pinky) side of the wrist
• Pain that gets worse with simple gripping and rotation movements (opening a door or using a can opener)
• It normally does not swell.
• Clicking, snapping, or crackling (crepitus) These are not present in all patients with TFCC tears.
• Pain weight-bearing activities.
• Feeling of instability

Weight Bearing Test is the Best way to know to test if you have a TFCC tear.

The human wrist is capable of tolerating 60-120 lbs. of weight on each wrist. If your injury is to the TFCC and you're experiencing ulnar-sided wrist pain, you will notice that your uninjured wrist is normal and your injured wrist hurts when you push down on the scale.

1. Use a NON-digital scale
2. Test on the unaffected wrist first
3. Test the affected wrist -slowly
4. Stop at the edge of pain- any pain!
5. Take 2 pieces of non-elastic tape- squeeze wrist together without compression on the ulnar head.
6. RETEST with the tape on

There should be an immediate change in weight bearing tolerance.
