    Answer: The website suggests washing your machine with the hottest setting and some old white towels and bleach. Washing machine was fine after 1 run.

    Answer: Yes. But I tested the color with the corner of a paper towel after Googling the instructions on their website. If the paper towel doesn’t look black, add more dye. I had to use 3 bottles of dye to do half a washing machine full of faded Black slacks for work. It worked well but sometimes too much diluted water. Add more dye and it’s like INK! Perfection. Just use the Rit Colorfast after to set it!

    Answer: Yes you can. I have used the dye on both black jeans and black Dockers and they turned out really nice!

    Answer: have only used on cotton fabric

    Answer: Yes the ink stays after the clothes were washed.

    Answer: Always test markers before committing yourself, but these should work on pretty much any type of fabric. The tip is fairly stiff, and I was concerned that they might not work as well on a fabric with a rough surface, but I have used them on heavy canvas and denim, and they are fine and work similar to other fabric markers I've used.
    Question: Will these work on felt
    Answer: I have not tried to use them or any other fabric marker on felt. There isn't any reason these would not make a mark on felt. Some felt is very fuzzy, and the fuzz tends to move around, so I would think it would work the best with a heavier line that doesn't need to be exact. These have a chisel point tip and a round, fairly thin line tip, and they have been pretty good for my use on canvas. If your felt is the kind that isn't very fuzzy, they should work o.k.

    Answer: There is no "magnet test" for stainless. 304 stainless is not very magnetic and typically only used outdoors because it won't finish as shiny. 430 stainless is magnetic and cheaper and used in most kitchen applications like this.

    Answer: There is unfortunately no option to change the rack at check out. The only compatible model will be the one it comes with.

    Answer: It probably will rust. I would also think that mildew would be a concern. I only store new sponges, dishwasher pellets, and other dry goods in mine.

    Answer: WE have a top load washer BUT I don't see why this product couldn't be used in a front load washer.Maybe do a small wash to try it out. Put the DeMite in before the laundry goes in.

    Answer: A quick internet search turned up nothing about animal safety, even on their website, I know it's safe for humans. I washed my clothes in it and I'm sensitive. I didn't react. It does say you should use it in you sheets "especially" if your dog sleeps in your bed. But that's not a ringing endorsement. The ingredients individually can cause skin irritation. It does produce an odor your dog may not like. Hopefully, this helps.
