Question:	These batteries for the rechargeable ones for an every day hallway light motion detector
Answer:	Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries are not rechargeable. Although they would probably work well in an AAA-powered motion detector, these batteries must be disposed of (preferebly, recycled) when depleted, and keeping your motion detector powered with these would be expensive. Primary (non-rechargeable) lithium batteries like these are best for infrequently-used devices, especially ones exposed to high or low temperatures, like an emergency flashlight that you keep in your car. You would probably be happier with rechargeable NiMH batteries for a constantly-used device like a motion detector.
Question:	what is the voltage? Are these lithium rechargeable
Answer:	Actually they are rechargeable, but they are not meant to be. You shouldn't use a regular charger, and certainly do NOT use a lithium charger. You should know what you're doing and do some experiments first, then know they aren't going to last either. Normal rechargeable batts don't last anywhere near as long as advertised either, but these will last even less. I haven't experimented with these nearly as much I have with other batt types, but I figure it's worth it to me to get one good charge outta them, then I toss 'em. After a charge I use them like I would alkaline batts, meaning I only put them in things that don't matter, like cheap flashlights etc. I wouldn't rely on it to work after sitting for ten years. It may still work, just saying I'll stick to oem for important stuff and looong shelf life. I can say that so far none of these have leaked out to ruin anything, like alkaline do, recharged or not... If you ask "How do I charge them if not with a regular charger", then I hate to say it but if you have to ask you probably shouldn't try. And most, once they hear how, would be unwilling. If you/anyone is still interested; use low current and be wary of it. Like charge it somewhere it can't hurt anything if things goes south. The worst thing I've ever had happen in decades of messing around with batts is they vent alkaline, or acid depending on the type, and make a mess. So far I've had better luck with Energizer Lithium than any other non-rechargeable batts, but I usually only charge the AA since I use those most. Second most is button cells, specifically 2032 cells of whatever quality brand. Button cell charging started because all the ones I tried had too low of voltage for my car remote. The car would say "batt low" in one to a few days. So I charged them a little, I guess whatever was missing since they were made, and now they last months. The smaller the cell less the charge rate, so you need a multi-tester, resistors, pots/rheostats etc to get it right. For AA I'd est 100mA or less is a good starting point. AAA I guess 50mA. 2032 I rekon 5mA. be certain of polarity and never let the batt get warm. This all applies to alkaline too, if you want to bother with them but may be nice in an emergency, like shtf ;)

Answer:	The band would probably extend far enough to fit on a hard hat, but the bill or rim of the hat might interfere with the light shining down. You might be able to wear it low on your forehead, below the hard hat, but I've never tried that. Answer:	I’m not sure about magnets. I use a light tap on a piece of tape to hold it in place. No problem removing it if you just barely tap the piece of tape in place.

Answer:	Mine (bought in June '13) said made in Singapore on batteries & were marked "Not for retail trade", came in unmarked (aside from amazon label and label saying "20 pack AA Lithium Batteries) plastic box.

Question:	What is the expiration date on these batteries
Answer:	Just got a pack in clearly printed 11-2029, so it looks like current stock definitely is sporting expiration dating!
Question:	Are they rechargeable
Answer:	Oddly, these batteries remain on the list (as of Aug 1 2015) even after I've put a check in the "rechargeable" filter (to stop seeing non-rechargeables). They show up as "rechargeable" even though (based on the answers here) they almost certainly aren't rechargeable.
Question:	Why in the world are they not sold on Catalina
Answer:	Good question! I live on Catalina and discovered Best Buy has NO problem shipping Alkaline or Lithium batteries. While there were reports that lithium batteries caught fire and were therefore dangerous, they have since been made much safer than they were. The new regulations were to be restrictions based on over 100 watt hour batteries and intended only for bulk shipments, not individual consumer products such as laptops or tablets. This did not however stop UPS or FedEx from refusing such shipments for some time. I suspect this was due to lack of understanding of their own regulations, staff training and education on their part. Instead they choose to blame shippers for preventing them from shipping simple products, Amazon included. For some time after passing that new regulation, I had to have tablets shipped to the mainland, then at great expense shipped to me from there or brought over by boat which made me wait long periods of time to get my purchases. No fun at all! If you call someone at UPS's hazmat department it's like talking to a brick wall and as if they don't have anyone who actually understands batteries working there at all. When I called about a Backup UPS (uninterruptable power supply), they had no clue as to if the batteries in them were sealed or not much less what an uninterruptible power supply is! Heaven help us...Now things changed considerably and I am able to get phones, tablets, and laptops shipped directly with under 100 Wh lithium batteries installed, and I quote "regulations limit the Li-ion battery to no larger than 100Wh" REFERENCE: http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_transport_batteriesThis still leaves the question about these type of batteries still being restricted and I would love to hear Amazon's response to this. Best Buy shipments come through to me in the same simple packaging as Amazon uses, so I really do not get why this hasn't been changed and updated on their website and I am waiting for them to do so as there is no reasonable explanation for it.As you can imagine, I've had to learn a lot more about batteries than I ever really wanted to over all of this. I just wanted to buy electronics and keep them powered like everyone else, but no... I had to move to an island and complicate things. haha

Answer:	You can stick them around the border to add a reflective red border. I don't use them because when you fold the landing pad, they get ruined after a while.

Answer:	It's meant for the ground and comes with pegs to keep it from blowing away. It doesn't appear to float and I definitely wouldn't try putting it on a lake surface!
Question:	how long these batteries can last stored before use
Answer:	It did not come with instructions. My son showed me it is like folding some of his kids toys. I place the edge on the ground and hold it at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock and push down until it curves and bring my hands together. It's hard to describe, but it pops back into a folded position as quick as it pops open.
