11 best batterys
Household batteries, specifically AAA batteries, are commonly used power sources for a wide range of devices in everyday life. Here's some information about AAA batteries and their relevance to household supplies and health:
AAA Batteries: AAA batteries are small cylindrical cells that are widely used in various household items, such as remote controls, digital cameras, flashlights, toys, and small electronic devices. They are a standard size for many portable electronic devices due to their compact form factor.
Household Supplies: AAA batteries are an essential part of many household supplies because of their versatility and compatibility with numerous devices. Having a supply of AAA batteries on hand is crucial to ensure that devices continue to function smoothly without interruption.
Health Household: While AAA batteries themselves are not directly related to health, they do play a role in powering health-related devices. For instance, some medical devices like digital thermometers, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeters may use AAA batteries for their operation. Having reliable batteries in these devices is important for maintaining accurate health measurements.
Types of AAA Batteries: There are primarily two types of AAA batteries: alkaline and rechargeable. Alkaline AAA batteries are disposable and provide a convenient source of power but need to be replaced when they run out. Rechargeable AAA batteries, on the other hand, can be reused multiple times by charging them with a compatible battery charger. This can be more cost-effective and environmentally friendly in the long run.
Longevity: The lifespan of AAA batteries varies depending on the brand, quality, and the device's power consumption. Alkaline AAA batteries typically last longer in low-drain devices like remote controls, while high-drain devices such as digital cameras may consume the battery more quickly. Rechargeable AAA batteries can be recharged hundreds of times, making them a sustainable choice.
Storage and Disposal: It's essential to store AAA batteries in a cool, dry place and to check their expiration dates, as expired batteries may not perform as expected. When disposing of household batteries, it's important to follow local regulations and recycle them properly to minimize environmental impact.
In summary, AAA batteries are a fundamental part of household supplies, providing power for various devices, including those related to health and well-being. Understanding the different types of AAA batteries, their longevity, and proper storage and disposal practices can help ensure a smooth and sustainable power supply for your household needs.

Question: | Prone to leaking |
Answer: | Yes, these will work perfectly for Magic the Gathering cards. ...Shuffling might be a little rough! |
Question: | Are these from China too like the Maxell |
Answer: | Yes they are UV protected. This is from Ultra Pros site: The holder provides UV-resistant, no-PVC and acid free protection to ensure your valuable hit retains its condition while under display. |
Question: | What's the difference between these "performance" batteries and basic Amazon Basics? (Please don't say the difference is 70 cents |
Answer: | 35pt. means 35 point. Point represents the thickness of the card. A standard trading card is 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches in size and around 35 point in thickness so this holder will hold these types of cards. You'll also see holders for sale that accommodate 50pt., 75pt., 100pt., etc. Larger point numbers are made for relic cards or jersey/memorabilia cards that are much thicker but still the traditional 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches in size. Hope this helps |
Question: | How much power do these store? (in mah please |
Answer: | Yes, these are authentic out of pack autographs in these packs if you buy them from our eBay store. SuperiorSportsInvestments |

User questions & answers
Question: | I am less interested in which battery last 5 minutes longer and more interested in what batteries leak the least. which leak least |
Answer: | My AAs bought in about July 2017 are stamped 12-2026. The AAs I bought in late 2015 or so are stamped 8-2025. The 9Vs I bought in early 2017 are stamped 8-2021. The AAAs I bought in early to mid 2017 are stamped 6-2027. The D cells I bought in December 2017 are stamped 10-2022. All are shrink wrapped so they can't make contact with other batteries or metal items in whatever drawer or box you store them in. I haven't had a dud yet and have used about 200 Amazon alkaline batteries. |
Question: | what is the guarantee date on these batteries |
Answer: | Bose qc uses AAA size not AA. Bose says alkaline battery last about 35 hours. 48 batteries will provide about 1600 hours of use but likely less if headphones are left on when not listening. |
Question: | How long do these last on the bose QC 25s and do you think they would easily last me a year if i go through 2-3 rechargeable aa battery chargesa week |
Answer: | The Amazon brand of alkaline battery meets expectations. I have used at least 50 in all major sizes over the past 2-3 years. None have leaked and only one has been DOA. Several Duracells have leaked on me and a couple of Dollar General brand alkalines have as well. The Amazon batteries are either cheaper or competitively priced therefore I have bought the 9 volts, AAs and AAAs in bulk and the Cs and Ds as I need them. |
Question: | How do they compare to Duracell |
Answer: | Perhaps with extremely heavy use, but not likely. I use mine for demonstrations almost monthly and the disks work fine. I did have to replace the gear due to the fact that the plastic broke, but I do move mine to varying locations, which could have been the cause of the break. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I need these for a rental property. The city requires that they have expiration dates listed on the battery themselves. Can anyone confirm |
Answer: | The date is very small on the bottom of the battery. Just received a box of 8, expiration 02/2025. |
Question: | How much ampere for a battery |
Answer: | 9V alkaline batteries are meant for low current applications. If subjected to high current they will suffer voltage depression (aka droop) below the typical target range needed for a 9V battery. In other words try to keep the current under 80mA unless you just don't care about voltage droop and even then, you might be better off with a 4 x AA battery and a boost circuit to achieve the target voltage if the current is much over 150mA. |
Question: | Will these fit the standard fire/smoke alarms? comments say that amazon batteries are longer than others which are hard enough to install..thanks |
Answer: | In my review (http://www.amazon.com/review/RNAU5AWNID6IA/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm) I provided detailed measurements and pictures of the batteries and side by side comparisons. The AmazonBasics and a Utilitech "heavy duty" battery, neither of which fit my CO detector, were both right about 0.6mm longer and 0.6mm fatter than a standard Duracell battery which did fit my CO detector. It seems these are the "big" 9v's (Possibly "Heavy duty"?). They do fit in my smoke detectors, but it really comes down to whether you have a cramped battery compartment or one that does weird things to connect the battery. You should probably pass if that's the case or if you've had issues installing your current batteries. |
Question: | Can anyone please compare the size of these batteries to the size of standard 9 volts? Are they the same size as standard batteries or longer |
Answer: | Tilt battery in from top down. Works with Dollar General 9 volts. Jon from Hector,MN. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the difference between the "Black" and the "White" AmazonBasics rechargeable batteries |
Answer: | The information I found on the Arlo site says they require special 3V batteries. C batteries are only 1.5V so no, you cannot use these. https://kb.arlo.com/290/What-kind-of-batteries-does-my-Arlo-Wire-Free-camera-use |
Question: | will it be hot if charge it at 1a with eastshine s2 charger |
Answer: | China, of course. They work, though. |
Question: | What is the difference between the AmazonBasics "black" label and "white" label |
Answer: | The max mAh that a C size alkaline battery can have is 8,000. So these batteries are probably 6,000 to 8,000 mAh. Rechargeable have a max of 6,000 and have a lower voltage. |
Question: | What is the difference between the "Black" and the "White" AmazonBasics rechargeable batteries |
Answer: | I only purchase Amazon batteries now. They last a VERY long time. I used in battery candles with timers and they last same as energizer or Duracell. Amazon is a $2-$4 savings! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Anybody tried these in a baby swing please |
Answer: | They last less time than dollar store batteries. I only had the swing on long enough for me to do laundry (30ish minutes), then when I went to use it again while making dinner they already showed signs of dying by the seeing barely going. By day 2 they'd only make the mobile part spin and music play, but no swinging action. By day 3 nothing. |
Question: | where are they made |
Answer: | I dont have the "D Cell" Amazon Basics batteries. However, I have the "9V Cell" Amazon Basics batteries & they are made in China like some of the other top Brand name Batteries like Duracell. Yes, Duracell is made in China. I'm not sure if this means that Duracell makes the Amazon version of battery or not; As there are many Generic or Off Brand name goods and products that are made by the brand name outfits themselves.I posted up my size because I'm assuming that the entire brand and all sizes of Amazon Basics batteries are made by the same partner/company more than likely. |
Question: | why are there 9v reviews for a d battery product? how is that helpful |
Answer: | Because you have a choice up top to choose between three different battery types. I'm assuming they bought the 9 volt version. |
Question: | How many mAh per battery |
Answer: | mAh is a battery capacity rating based on discharge current. 800 is very low and wrong. For a standard (bunny) D-cell, at half amp current, its rated at 10,000 mAh. Amazon needs to show the product data sheet for these batteries. |

User questions & answers
Question: | will it charge a generator battery |
Answer: | Yes that is why I got it. Had a solar charger and did not keep battery up. I love this charger it does maintenance to keep charged. |
Question: | Does it work on a speaker |
Answer: | If you’re talking about a wireless, portable amplifier with a rechargeable battery, it could work. You’d need to verify the battery inside is 12 VDC. Then you’d need to make sure the input is sufficient and the plug correct. |
Question: | Is this a jump starter for a car |
Answer: | No it's not for jump-starting it's a trickle charger |
Question: | How is amazon basics charger compare to axtra car battery charger maintainer |
Answer: | Amazon basics collected all data from other competitors and copied exactly product and resale them with their brand with a lower price. I have one of these name brand AXTRA car battery maintainer and they worked better than Amazons battery charger. Question: | Where were these batteries manufactured |
Answer: | Probably China just like with 90% of things these days. |
Question: | Are these 1200mAh or 600mAh? It's weird this critical specification is missing for these batteries |
Answer: | Must be 600mAh if it were 1200 they would say so. |
Question: | what is the country of origin |
Answer: | It's ALWAYS made in China. Assume everything is from China unless they explicitly say otherwise. And they will - if it's made in the USA, believe me they will make sure to advertise it. |
Question: | how many mah |
Answer: | Don't know -- my non-scientific experience is that they last as long as the Energizer 9V lithiums which are 750maH |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the mAh rating on these |
Answer: | Every battery has a mah... the difference is that they aren't chargeable and lose Mah once you use them. So in other words the Mah number is only good for first time use. After that it diminishes. Its like telling time after you get done saying it its already gone. I would say it starts at around 16000 mah. |
Question: | When do these expire |
Answer: | There's no expiration date on them. They don't last. |
Question: | Are these the brightest for flashlight |
Answer: | As best as I know, these are the brightest made for any flashlight. I suggest you check the internet for information about lumens, etc. I would also advise you to be very careful about what you buy. I bought a 12 pack of D batteries from this vendor and not one of them worked. The box was the same as pictured here and said "New". |
Question: | Why does it say .04 cents a count when it's .53 cents a count? Very misleading, not happy |
Answer: | Let's see, .04 cents × 48 batteries = $1.92 + tax. In my opinion it's pretty obvious that it's a misprint. Get over it! |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is expiration date |
Answer: | It is a logical question that might best be answered comparing the mAH (millamp hours) ratings. I guess the people who answered 70 cents thought they were being funny, but I wonder WHY DOESN'T AMAZON ANSWER THE QUESTION?!? |
Question: | are these made in the US |
Answer: | Ah is a unit of electric charge, not power.1 Ah = 3600 Coulombs, so 1 mAh = 3.6 Coulomb Power is a derivative of energy (or work) delivered/used in an instant.Power is measured in Watts: 1W = 1 J/sYou cannot "store" power, but you can store energy. |
Question: | What is the current/voltage output |
Answer: | yes... i have 2 x 90 degree bends in my 12 feet of duct and even with all 6 pieces attached for full length, it will bend and work perfect. |
Question: | Does anyone know the manufacturer dates on these batteries |
Answer: | You MUST run your drill in the "forward" (clockwise) mode at all times, or the threaded components will unthread. Since I have a long dryer vent pipe, I ran it from both ends to get full cleaning. There is no need to ever run it in reverse. Just push or pull it while rotating your drill clockwise. I connected a Shopvac to the opposite end to suck out the debris while I was using the brush, and that worked fine. I don't know the value of leaving the dryer on. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the battery capacity (in mAh |
Answer: | I'm sorry not sure |
Question: | Why does the picture on the battery indicate it is not disposable |
Answer: | You can dispose of household batteries with your regular trash. There used to be mercury in batteries so they used to say not to throw them away with regular trash, but that's not true today. I believe the picture may mean to not recycle the batteries, but I'm not sure. |
