Answer:	Foam is pretty firm. When I sit on the bed with my legs hanging over to talk to my son before bed my legs are raised over the wedge with no compression. I cannot sit directly on top of wedge as the point stays and it’s not comfortable. I’m sure if something extremely heavy was placed on it it would compress but we haven’t had that problem.

Answer:	Foam could be cut but it is in a protective nylon case which if I remember correctly is not removable so the protective case would have to be cut as well. Could still work but then foam would not be water/ stain resistant.

Answer:	There is no removable cover. I believe they state that in the description of the product, mines did not come with a removable cover either. If it says that it’s supposed to, you may want to reach out to the seller/maker of the product. I keep clean by gently using a warm wet cloth and soap. I let air dry. Hope this helps.
