Question:	Do I have control over the auto off feature
Answer:	The unit is not as high as most foot rest if you have a safeco brand that adjust on a post this will not give you that kind of height. Only going to give you about 4 inches extra height

Answer:	The one I bought a year ago did not come with any temperature control switch cord. It has a dial-type switch on the footrest with three settings, marked OFF, FOOTREST, and HEAT PANE. These can be translated to OFF, LOW, and HIGH. I have always used mine as a footrest, never as a "heat pane," or shin-warmer, so I never change the setting from the footrest position. What I did was buy an inexpensive foot-operated on-off switch that I put right next to the heater. (My heater is under my computer desk on a cold hardwood floor.) For me, that works perfectly. Even on the footrest setting, if I'm just wearing socks or barefoot, the heater can get uncomfortably warm. It's handy to have that switch just inches away that I can tap with my foot to turn the heater off for a while.

Answer:	Hello LR, Yes, there is a sturdy knob at the top of the panel. Three settings -"off, foot rest, and heating panel." There is a red light which lets you know when the unit is on. After a year and a half or so the bulb goes out on the led so you have to remember to shut the unit off when not using it. C

Answer:	There is no date on the box but the packs inside are marked expires 12/18 . I wear these a lot in winter as my feet are always cold. I even wear them around the house when I know I will be home for most of the day. I have some left over from last year and they are still perfect.

Answer:	I have a size ten it doesn't cover the whole foot just about 3/4s but they where more than enough

Question:	Being that i can you use these for wearing steel toe boots, are these better than the toe warmers
Answer:	That's just personal preference. The insole warmers will warm the whole foot where the toe warmers focus on the toes. Give them both a try.
Question:	How do you attach this product to a slipper or a sock
Answer:	To use this product, you just remove a plastic protector sheet from one side of warm pad. It does not have a sticky side. You just place each pad inside, bottom of your shoe. You can place it inside of your sock, but I don't recommend to use direct contact to your skin. You might feel too hot. I felt too hot through my thin sock on. This pad might be moved around inside of slipper.

Answer:	last time I ordered I got them within a week - but that was before Christmas and with prime - so maybe high depmand now. GOing to order another box because I am running out. MY feet are ALWAYS cold so even if I am home for the day I waer them around the house.

Question:	Are these effective in scuba dry suit boots? Taking them out to reactivate won't be possible for several hours. Also will it fit in very small boots
Answer:	Used one package, two pads in a package, in my regular ( non winter) hiking boots for 5 hours of zero degree Fahrenheit temperature hiking. They keep my toes from from being too cold or becoming numb while walking. They aren't thick or big enough in that weather to make your feet feel warm, rather they keep them from hurting. Thin and small enough so you can place the pad under your four small toes in the toe box area without having to walk on it with the ball of your foot and possibly interfere with the fit of your boot. Glad I found this product. Put one on water bladder, remember mildly self adhesive, to keep water from freezing over same five hours. Hope this helps you.
Question:	Would these work under high impact? For example during running
Answer:	Go with the toe warmers with adhesive. They work for both. If you are worried that they will get too hot and not last in gloves then you can try putting them in a small cloth baggie first. I do about 5 mile hikes in the winter from -10 to 30 degrees F no problems with cold toes. I found out that sticking them above your toes works much better than under them. Under you toes they get wet and clumpy and horribly uncomfortable. On top of toes they are great. Stick them directly to the top of your socks above your toes and then put your shoes on like normal. No fussing about trying to stick them in the shoe themselves. I don't bother using them in my gloves as my hands stay plenty warm in my wool gloves. The kind that are wool mittens but you can open the ends if you want like a convertible wool mitten.

Stone House in Westbury, New York

OCA made each of the rooms unique and suited to the home's purpose. While keeping proportions humane, to accommodate these rooms, OCA let the house ramble on the exterior. By preserving all the existing trees and using the same slate roofs and random rubble fieldstone as the Chestnut Hill houses, making it appear the house had always been there.

Oak library

Craftsmanship is a high point in the library. OCA worked with Hardwick Post and Beam to create the timber vaulted space using large reclaimed oak timbers with the depth necessary for the arc cut in the tall principal bents that define the space. Collaboration between architect, millworker and timber framer emphasizes the oak and its strengths, rustic and refined.

Elliptical staircase

A second-floor hallway runs from a corkscrew staircase that runs from the lower level to the third floor. That staircase pins the dining room to the central first floor hall. The central hall, library, and living room all rotate off this entrance hall.

East River Duplex in Gracie Square Manhattan

It's often hard to tell, among its canyons and caves, that Manhattan is an island. Not so here. This apartment came with a sweeping view up and down the East River, dramatically framed by a corner of glass in its living room. The apartment also came with a lot of idiosyncrasies rarely seen in today's construction.

Octagonal dining room

The apartment itself can be understood as three parts. First, there are the formal rooms – living, dining, and library – in the main wing, facing the river. They focus on creating a sequence of distinct spaces. The dining room became an octagon – in its high ceiling nestles a Soane-inspired oculus.

Balcony and stairs with a detailed railing

The clients wanted to enjoy and emphasize the level change between the bedroom wings in the back and the rest of the apartment. OCA added a small balcony to the staircase to celebrate the level change between the bedroom wing and the rest of the apartment.

Beach House in Quogue, New York

This house has a destination, the sea and the roofs all open towards it obligingly. Inside and out flow together, so doors are everywhere. There are twenty ways into and out of the house. Working with OCA landscape architect Ed Hollander, a garden was created to wrap the home’s boardwalk.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom positioned closest to the sea and dune commands an unparalleled view of the ocean. It is located on the second floor to maximize how far the eye can see.

Living Room

The living room’s chimney stone, pale oak floors, and fabrics complement one another and bring in the color of the sand. Interior designer Eve Robinson played a key role defining a color and material palette of warm and sandy tones to pull the sun and dunes into the home.
