Answer:	Dear Nancy,I don't know, and the package lists only "iron, activated carbon, and water." HOWEVER, you stick them to your clothing, never your skin, as the instructions say. They may contain latex, but the only time they touch your skin is when you stick them on. If you're extremely allergic to latex, I guess you could use rubber gloves to put them on. In contrast to the previous answer, I have found Cura-Heat to be EXTREMELY helpful in relieving lower back/shoulder pain. They stay warm for at least 15 hours and relax tight muscles/tendons amazingly well for me. I hope this helps.Susan

Answer:	I don't know what the exact meds are. But I use them on my shoulder & elbow joints to keep them warm & supple. I don't think there is anything 'harmful' in them. I have been bodybuilding steadily since 1959 (I'm 73 yrs old. & a Mr. NJ winner). Keeping joints pain free is important, obviously, and these are helpful in that regard!

The recommended way to use MenstruHeat is to stick on your underwear. Your underwear layer will protect your skin from direct contact with heat. 



Alternatively, for most heat, you may stick directly on skin - but do note that you will need to check your skin frequently as prolong contact with low heat can cause burns or blistering. Remove product immediately if it gets too hot. If you have sensitive skin, DO NOT stick product on skin directly.

Answer:	Usually the expiration date is included on the box as well as the individual packages. It looks like EXP 2021 - 04 for example - meaning Expires April 2021. They usually have a long shelf life of about two years.

Answer:	You should check with your physician regarding the use of heat for spinal stenosis pain relief. I DO NOT have a spinal stenosis but do use the heat wraps-mainly after I have been working in the yard.

Answer:	To me the Luminas patch totally out performs the salonpas. I have worn it for 24 hrs plus and it has taken my back and sciatic pain away. Great product .
Question:	What are the ingredients
Answer:	When I have pain that is typically associated with inflammation, I can achieve some level of relief with NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and naproxen. When my pain is caused mostly by neurological issues. I get no relief at all from NSAIDs. The pain is also very sharp and more intense.
Question:	Why is this product not listed as fsa or hsa eligible
Answer:	Do not cut the patch as the charge will be lost and it will be less effective. We do make a smaller round patch size that is 1" in diameter that would be perfect to fit around your finger! You can find them on our website.

Answer:	Don't know where research was conducted, probably no where reputable because they don't work, not at all. Save a lot of money and buy some bio-freeze or outback lotion.

Question:	What is the adhesive called that is used on this patch
Answer:	Maybe, it depends. Others have quoted the maximum torque this can apply in fastening (103 lb ft), but the actual maximum for breakaway torque (when the wrench is set in reverse) is 200 lb ft. I have used it for taking lug nuts off my vehicle, but the recommended torque for those are 80 lb ft, so it isn't testing it much.

Answer:	Those batteries are different configuration. Answer: No!

Answer:	Dear Nancy,I don't know, and the package lists only "iron, activated carbon, and water." HOWEVER, you stick them to your clothing, never your skin, as the instructions say. They may contain latex, but the only time they touch your skin is when you stick them on. If you're extremely allergic to latex, I guess you could use rubber gloves to put them on. In contrast to the previous answer, I have found Cura-Heat to be EXTREMELY helpful in relieving lower back/shoulder pain. They stay warm for at least 15 hours and relax tight muscles/tendons amazingly well for me. I hope this helps.Susan

Answer:	There is a waistband included. You put one or two patches in the waistband so not self adhering.

Answer:	These actually do get hot. It says that you need to apply to the outside of your cloths. I apply it directly to my hip. I love this product and order it repeatedly.
