| Answer: | Its not as thick as it used to be. Im very disappointed. It is thinned down...probably so it goes through the pump better. It works for the 1st half or more of tub, then the bottom stuff is thicker so the pump doesnt work so well anymore. With the original, thicker formula, I got so tired of messing with their pumps, that i almost switched to another brand of lotion. But I loved the thick formula, so I cut the bottles open and scooped the lotion into old olive jars, or whatever jars i had available. I loved scooping it out of a jar (versus pump), and used it lavishly....after I had transferred it to another container. I called the company to appeal to them to please put it in tubs (cuz the pumps didnt work), and also to market it with other lotions....instead of hidden in the baby section only. Not long later, (possibly in response to complaints) they came out with the thinned down version. I am so disappointed, and feel it was a marketing mistake. I still purchase the lotion sometimes, but also use other lotions that do the job just as well. Considering the thinned down version, the price is really elevated. |

• Keep head straight and look forward. No need to bend the neck.
• Place bottle tip into one nostril and point tip toward the back of the throat, not the eyes. Do not point tip upwards. Hold the bottle, so the water line aligns with bottle Level Lines.
• Ensure tip rests against nostril, making a tight seal.
• Take a breath and hold it, in order to block the back of your throat. While holding that breath, gently squeeze the bottle until the solution exits the opposite nostril.
• Squeeze the bottle gently, flushing solution along the nasal floor, making a U-turn, and exiting the opposite nostril.
• Exhale through the nose with mouth closed. This allows the excess solution to drain without popping your ears.
• Switch to other nostril & repeat.
• Allow nose to drain naturally. Blow nose gently. To allow any trapped solution to drain, bend forward from the waist & rotate your head from side to side.

| Answer: | Thanks for your question. Do not leave any solution in the water tank when not in use. The water reservoir is not intended to store solution between uses. Saline is highly corrosive and is not hygienic to store for later use. Any solution that is allowed to remain in the unit when not in use will leak out. Cleaning Tips: 1) Rinse the water tank thoroughly after each use especially if using intermittently and allow it to air dry. 2) Rinse SinuPulse with diluted vinegar (2:1) every 4-6 weeks to disinfect and decalcify any mineral deposits. 3) Do not use alcohol or dishwashing detergents. My 2014 unit just failed -- again power button.FEB 2017 EDIT: I had another identical (I thought) failure of a mid-2015 purchase. I disassembled the thing. Conclusion: The mechanism that converts the motor's rotary motion to reciprocating motion to power the pump just wore out -- after a little more than 18 months of daily service. The mechanism was binding. I guess that's the cost of having clean nasal passages. |

Amazon should not allow their customers to be deceived like this. Customers can google Grossan Hydropulse and see the difference or look at the video on the bottom of the product page and see they are two different products. How to use:
Step 1: Wash your hands. Fill the clean bottle up to the fill line (300ml) with lukewarm distilled water or previously boiled water.
Step 2: Cut the Nasal Wash Salt pour its contents into the bottle. Tighten the cap & tube on the bottle securely.
Place one finger over the tip of the cap and shake the bottle gently to dissolve the mixture.
Step 3: Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head down. Keeping your mouth open and without holding your breath,
place cap snugly against your right nostril and Squeeze Bottle Gently until the solution starts draining from the Opposite nostril or from your mouth.
Step 4: Blow your nose gently, without pinching your nose completely because this will apply pressure on the eardrums.
Step 5: Now repeat steps 3 & 4 for your left nostril.

Do not use water or regular salt instead of nasal rinse salt.
