Answer:	Yes- but i don't use it around the ostomy much, but rather where the tape causes irritation further out- my skin will get raw, weeping, and about 2-3 applications of this will heal it right up- when the skin around ostomy itselv gets bad, i will apply some of this- allow it to sit for a few minutes, then wipe most of it off, apply some convatec stomahesive paste very thinly to the skin around ostomy, then let that dry (about 1-2 minutes) then apply pouch (note wrap some toilet paper around stoma to keep it from wetting hte stomahesive while it dries). The combination of the very thin layer of zinc under the paste helps it heal up pretty quickly- but you have to wipe most of it off so that the paste can stick[ otherwise it won't stick at all to skin- Anyways- good luck
