Question:	Does it have reflective tape? If so, that would be perfect
Answer:	No. Unless you leave it turned to the highest setting, it leaves water all around it. I had to sit it on a water proof pad to avoid having water on my furniture. It needs to have a little more power to shoot the steam higher rather than having the steam stay low. I don't like this humidifier and don't recommend it. Find one that is taller and shoots out a higher mist.

Answer:	There is an optional mineral filter you can purchase when using tap water, to limit the amount of white dust.

Answer:	I would recommend cleaning the unit as instructed and adding a protec antimicrobial ball or fish (good for 30 days/availableon Amazon).

Answer:	I use tap water, however I do get a lot of white dust. Perhaps distilled would help that. Sorry I can't tell you for sure.

Answer:	It is more of an evaporative cooler. It works with water to get cooler. My button to get the water to flow is the next to last button on top of the unit. I love this cooler. It shows the temp of the room, and with our air conditioner set at 82, my cooler averages 80 during summer. This time of year in AZ it will go down to 76 or 77.
Question:	Will it fit a nintendo switch
Answer:	I have not used this humidifier, but did see your question. Most humidifiers that leave a white powder on walls, furniture, etc. seem to do so as a result of people filling them with plain tap water, which for many people their water is somewhat hard & tends to be full of minerals & all sorts of other stuff that leads to the white powder problem. The best solution is to use distilled water in your humidifier instead— only most people don’t want to spend the money for bottles of distilled water. I, personally, think it’s very worth it. I’ve always used distilled water in my various different humidifiers & have never had any problems. Hope this helps.

Answer:	We are using it in our bedroom 13 x 15. It seems to be helping a lot. I wouldn’t use it in a room too much larger than that. We have it on medium and it seems to keep the winter dryness at bay.

Question:	If returning this product .. does it have free returns
Answer:	No. An evaporative cooler (aka swamp cooler) works differently than an air conditioner. There are portable air conditioners.
Question:	How long is the waist strap
Answer:	I'm in Southern CO & use this in conjunction with a wall A/C. Dry air is a serious problem here & I've found running the A/C alone everyone gets nosebleeds, but running it with the swamp cooler works great. The swamp cooler holds a LOT of water, but we go through one tank a day. When I put ice in it & run the standard A/C the room cools down very quickly & the humidity rises to a comfortable level. I use it in a room that's about 15 X 30'.
Question:	Will this fit a 27-28" waist
Answer:	I believe it said as long as you clean the filter at least once a month it will last a few years. I just run my filter under my kitchen sink faucet on a high setting. I make sure to turn it over and do both sides. And even from top to bottom. It doesn't take that long.
Question:	Will this fit a child
Answer:	I'm not sure. Mine came with a manual. I love this cooler, it's the best one by far I've ever had.

If the unit was brought inside and placed in front of a window, you may not be able to keep it hooked up to a water supply, which keeps the unit filled with water, and in operation. Answer:	In my experience it is no way similar to a car AC. The air is coolish at best, and much more similar to just having a floor fan running, except that the air gets muggier in hot weather.
