Answer:	It’s not a tablet. It’s more like a gel cap (soft like that) and inside it has the cream. It’s comfortable and easy to use. Use it right before going to bed.

Question:	How can I stop the burning, immediately? How can I neutralize miconazole nitrate. Ouch, ouch, ouch
Answer:	First the applicator has been known to rip your inflamed, tender insides. They are not very forgiving in such a tender area. The 1 or 3 day versions have the strongest concentration of med. Yes burning in the beginning is common... it's an infection and the tissues are inflamed. You do not have to have itching on the outside for the infection to be rip roaring on the inside. Douching will only make the infection worse and Vinegar on inflamed tissue is not helpful either. Douching clearing out more good bacteria... is bad news you don't want to be even more unbalanced. In the 7 day treatment burning at the start subsides in max an hour for me and only on the 1st or 2nd day. I unfortunately have a lot of experience with this issue due to chronic antibiotic use. This medication is the only one that works for me. If on the 7 day treatment it's "unbearable" for more than an hour you really need to get into your doctor and get checked out. I hope my input is helpful to others

Question:	This is for my wife. We can't test while she is urinating, so can we dip the test strips in a sterile collection container
Answer:	I have to Cath in a bag so as I'm pouring urine out I run the test strip under it and it works just fine. The only difference between my bags and the container you're probably using is my bags are sterile so I'd make sure you use a clean container so the test isn't contaminated.
Question:	Will this test detect an e coli urinary tract infection
Answer:	It did for me and it has for my mother. But that said, it does not show what bacteria is causing the infection - only that you have one. My doctor sent a urine culture to the lab and e coli came back as one of the infecting agents. The strip used at the doctor's office came back negative even though I had a terrible infection so I trust AZO.

Answer:	They do have an expiration date. In my experience, you usually have between a year and two years before they are expired. They are very reliable, as far as the test results.

Answer:	Disregard that. The test is accurate and valid only minutes after testing and the strip should be disposed of right after that. It is meaningless what color it turns hours later, just a chemical reaction to air.

Answer:	Sorry for the late response, I just got this, but I figured I should answer for future customers. I would not suggest using it while pregnant. It is unproven whether or not it will be absorbed into the system and by the baby even though it's been recommended in the past to use between breast feeding on yeast issues with the breasts. I would stick to plain greek yogurt as a substitute suppository and a strong dose of probiotics from the health food store. Get the one that's refrigerated they are the best.

This drug should not be used with other vaginal products. Douches and tampons may remove some of the cream from the vagina. Spermicides may interfere with this product. Condoms and diaphragms may be damaged by this product and fail to prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Are vaginal yeast infections sexually transmitted?

Vaginal yeast infections are usually not spread by having intercourse (sex). However, if your partner has a rash, itching or discomfort in his genital area, he should contact a doctor to find out the cause of his symptoms and tell the doctor that you are treating your vaginal yeast infection with this product.
