Answer:	There are THREE options...depending on which one you pick determines whether or not it needs oil. There is a LARGE one, and XL, and then the last option is Oil-less...

Question:	what type of oil is best to use
Answer:	Peanut oil as it has the highest flash point of any oil, which is the temperature at which the oil starts to burn. Peanut oil also stays clearer than virtually every other type of oil and is far healthier. However, if you cannot get peanut oil, you can always use cotton seed or vegetable oil. Addionally, any flavor that MAY be imparted to the food is usually minimal or undetectable. Olive oil lends a LOT of flavor and has a LOW flash point.
Question:	Does the oil have to be refrigerated after use and during storage
Answer:	I do not refrigerate after use. I keep the oil in the fryer until it's time to be cleaned. I usually clean the fryer and change oil about once a month depending on usuage.
Question:	how do i store the oil away for later use
Answer:	The fryer has a drain valve. I recommend buying a supply of oil in a jug large enough to return the used oil to. We drain the oil into into a funnel lined with paper towels to filter it, then store it in the pantry.

Answer:	The tank, and the basket seem to do well in the dishwasher. I have not placed the lid in the dishwasher because it seems to do well with just wiping with warm soapy water. DO not use the lid during cooking! This is a deep fryer and any use of a lid may introduce water from steam to the oil causing a boil over of oil.

Answer:	5000 watts = 41.6 amps. Since there are two separate heating elements, that would be 20.8 amps per side. Most home outlets are rated at 15 amps and a dedicated microwave outlet is 20 amps. Something has to give here. If you plugged it in to an ordinary outlet, it should trip the breaker every time. That is unless this unit is not really 5000 watts. Simple mathematics.

Answer:	When the unit is heating up it is too hot to touch, but that's completely understandable since it works so well. I heat it up, use it, then let it cool down before putting the top cover on before I put it away for storage. Again, this is the best kitchen appliance I have ever used!

Answer:	Yes there is a thermometer included and because the glass lid steams up the lid needs to be lifted to see the temperature. The turkey was well cooked and was delicious. So easy and it freed up my oven.

Answer:	Absolutely, rub on some olive oil and rub in your favorite seasoning. I let it sit like that for a few hours before putting it in.

Answer:	Our Christmas turkey came out crispy like deep fried turkey and was actually so much better, no greasy after taste. The whole family could not believe it was air fried!!! Amazing. It held the 15lb turkey to full capacity, and crisped all the way around.

Answer:	There are 2 versions. Mine is electric and can be used indoors. The propane one should be used outside. When we get ready to smoke meats I will use it outside.

Question:	where to get extra oil filters for Secura 4.2L/17 cup
Answer:	The fryer does not come with any oil filters. I comes with one set of installed carbon filters and also one extra set so that when you have the lid on, all vapors pass through the carbon and really helps with any smell in the kitchen. I purchased the oil filter that Amazon usually shows that would be a good accessory for the fryer. It does let small particles pass through but so far they have not affected anything. The next time I see a restaurant supply store I think I will check out their filters. The one that Amazon recommends is certainly better than nothing and only costs around $10.

Answer:	Not that I remember. I have used a fryer before, so I would likely have tossed it if it did. Pretty simple operation. Fill with oil to max fill line, plug it in, turn heat to highest setting, turn timer on, allow to heat up, lower food into oil and put the lid on. Check food every few minutes to see if done.

Answer:	I haven't had mine out for a few months but I do know that when I got it I was very pleased with the quality. The accessories were all good and just what you would need to cook anything you want. I did buy an additional thermometor because I wasn't sure if it came with one but it does. A pretty complete package in my opinion. If your buying a burner to go with it I would suggest you get one that sits lower to the ground.

Answer:	Yes depending on if your frying chicken wings or party wing, with chicken wings u can fit like 10-15 at a time with party wing about 20 also depends on the size but I sell platters and I used mines for it

Answer:	It can fry quite a bit at once but you won't be able to fry 4lbs of chicken and 1lb of potatoes at once, but it holds a lot. I've cooked chicken breasts in it and depending on size you can get 4-6 in at once in the big frying basket. 1 lb of potatoes would go in the big basket just fine though.
