Question:	Are the wrappers for each pad made of polypropylene? If so, what's the gsm? I'm thinking of repurposing the wrappers before throwing in the trash
Answer:	For me, it did not work. Did not even kill tiny fruit flies. I suggest trying a different product.
Question:	If they have no phtalates, what is the plastic layer made of
Answer:	I sprayed it on the soil and the foliage; it didn't work to kill the gnats.
Question:	Where are they made
Answer:	Yes, but it requires physical contact to kill them. It is most effective at killing the nymph or larvae phase, because they tend to stay crawling around in the topsoil. The adult flies are harder to catch and spray this on, but if you spray it on one that has landed it will kill it too. Fungus gnats have a quick lifecycle (~7 days), and if you have many adults flying around they will be mating and laying eggs in the soil within a few days. To get rid of fungus gnats, both the larvae, pupae, and nymphs in the soil as well as the adult flies need to be targeted. This is in order to interrupt the life cycle. We have found some success using this spray on the top layer of soil to kill the gnat’s early phases in our potted indoor plants, while using sticky yellow traps for the adult flies. It takes a careful eye, but you can sometimes find which plants have young fungus gnats in them by looking closely at the top soil in each potted plant. Shining a bright light on them helps. It will probably take multiple treatments for each heavily infested plant to fully get rid of them all. This is because the active ingredients in this product require physical exposure to kill insects and also have a relatively short half life, especially in sunlight. Pyrethrins have a half life of 11.8 hours in water and 12.9 hours on soil surfaces when exposed to direct sunlight, and when not exposed to sunlight half lives ranging from 14 to 17 days have been reported. Obviously when treating plants, some sunlight exposure must be maintained to keep the plants healthy. Therefore, multiple treatments are likely necessary to fully get all of the insects hiding in the soil.

Question:	How long are these pads
Answer:	I can’t speak to the rain, but I did notice some bag degradation after a full bag was sitting in the sun for a few days in my plastic compost collection bin (the NYC streetside pickup variety). A good product overall, and seems like a good option if it’s only 1/3 acre’s worth of waste.
Question:	Do these have a scent
Answer:	Unfortunately they’re not that strong. I use them to clean up my goats stalls of shavings and poop. One goat likes to get my attention so he grabs the bags with his lips and tears them. Leaves would be fine but sticks would poke through
Question:	How do i find the 16 inch ones
Answer:	The bags are pretty thin so you might want to use the small bags this company has for dog waste. But definitely these bags are good for compostable.
Question:	How long is this "long" version? I need long pads
Answer:	Yes for compostable trash. These bags will start to discompose after a certain period of time. I use them in my large compost trash can provided by the city's dept. of sanitation.

Question:	How long are the long length poise micro liner
Answer:	No- the height is as advertised--30" x 26" dia. The bags do stand up by themselves, but they are still new- after much use i dont know. My neighbor has similar bags (not the same source) and they stand up nicely after several years of use
Question:	Is this 2 boxes of 50 for
Answer:	You bring in the sides and knot them. They have raised edges so you match the raised edges to tie a knot like you would shoe laces. No twist tie and no pull strings.
Question:	are they indiviually wrapped
Answer:	I wouldn't risk it. We use them inside for kitchen scraps and replace the bag once a week regardless of how full it is because of its proclivity to deteriorate.

Answer:	I try not to keep my filled bags for more than a few days in the garage. They weaken pretty fast when filled with grass clippings.

Answer:	I found out that the 33 gal bags are currently manufactured in China, tested and packaged in the US.
