Heat also encourages growth og bacteria as well but that won't be a concern until you open and use it. Answer:	Definitely buy the solution that comes with the bulb. I used the solution and then used the shower head to flush out my ears- to little effect. I finally got the bulb. One mistake was pointing my ear upwards towards the shower head -and the shower not having the power to flush my ears. Point your ear to the ground after leaving the solution in for the max amount of time. Then, flush your ear with the bulb using warm water and plenty of force. You will know that it worked when you are shocked by what comes out of your ears!!!

Answer:	the instructions state "machine wash cold gentle cycle, line dry". ...personally, i wash hot water for sanitary purposes and then line dry. however, there have been a couple of times i placed them in the dryer and they came out fine (though i wouldn't make a habit of doing that if you want longevity of your pillow cases)
