Answer:	My S.O. snores rather loud and I simply use ear plugs (there are actually several varieties out there that reduce 34db as well) so I can comfortably move around as needed. I wouldn't get these for sleeping.
Question:	Is there any protection if the batteries die on you in the field/range? I.E. What happens to noises above the 82dB range with no batteries
Answer:	They were very comfortable wearing them for 8-10 hrs a day for about 6 months. Around that time I noticed they started to become very uncomfortable. Turns out the bottom half of the cushions go from very soft when new to very hard due to skin oils. I found a 3M manufacturer with this explanation. Can't imagine why this sort of defect hasn't been resolved for ear muffs in general, but since I have to wear them to continue working from home with toddlers I'll just be ordering another pair and try to keep them a little cleaner I guess. Maybe that will extend their life before I have to replace them.

Answer:	Yes, greatly-muffled sound but you'll still hear, especially loud and abrasive noises. You'll still be able to hear the smoke detector going off, etc.

Answer:	I am not an amazon purchaser for this item but while looking for replacement blades, I came accross this. From what I have seen thus far.... the replacement blades are hard to find. There are generic blades offered from $10 to $20 but I don't know if they fit... I need to get the specific measurements of the blades to see. After the first afternoon, the blades were dull enough that we had to help the wood in since it stopped pulling it in. Rotated the blades and it worked great again. One of the blades broke after the second day of work. There were no nails or wires in the wood at all. The manufacturer does not have an option to order blades, you have to fill out a form and wait for a reply from them. Hopefully I can find a reasonable substitute... for the cost of 5 sets of blades... you get the cost of an entire shredder at $20. Saw some for $10 but if the Cheaper one is "cheaper" $20 may be the way to go.

Answer:	Those people did not sharpen the machined blades from the factory, you should take the blades out and sharpen them, then polish them with a good stone .. the blades are actually very good steel, and they're double sided, so you can flip them over when they actually do get dull (mine are still very sharp), so you won't have to sharpen more than probably once a year or once every two years, depending on how much you use them .. they are not cheap blades, and should last the life of the machine. I sharpen my chisels for woodwork, and the chipper blades are a high quality steel. The reason people have these disappointments is because they expect plug and play, and that is not how machined tools work .. you have to put a sharp, polished finish on machined blades.

I have 3 of them and keep each one in a different place where I need a strong light source from time to time. Correction: There is a small hole on the end cap than might be big enough to thread a shoelace. I would not entrust any chain fine enough to use the hole with the your keys let alone mine

Answer:	100% YES! it's a 1" diameter holder, plenty of options there too. Some of the weapon lights on Amazon are complete crap. Either buy something around the $100 plus price point or the xl50 and a less than $20 rail mount. Boom.
Question:	How often are you supposed to use it. It only says four to five drops. Is that once a day
Answer:	No, you have to use the 3 cell battery pack, Becuse of the controller in the rear cap
Question:	Why can’t I get this from Walmart anymore
Answer:	Don't have a ruler handy so here's reference points... The diameter is about 1/16" larger than a US quarter, and the length is about 1/4 inch longer than an iPhone. Hope that helps.
