Answer:	Well I haven't had this lunch bag for very long but I make my lunch at 6 in the morning and don't eat it until around noon each day. I use a medium size ice pack and my food is still cold by the time I eat it, so it will keep food cold, with an ice pack, for at least 6 hours. I have not tried this item with any food that is warm so I cannot answer that part of the question but I hope the little bit of information helps.
